My wiper shoots all the liquid into the air. Not even a little on the windshield. This truck has been infuriating in winter so far. :censored:

Same...terrible window cleaning performance on this. Truck is about a month old and it's the only design issue that has been annoying. Hoping Tesla will resolve this for the community soon.

I am less concerned with the fact that the drivers side window gets completely covered in salty dirty runoff as well after attempting to spray the windshield. It is also annoying but I would much prefer the front to be clear. One seems to be an inconvenience, the other is a genuine safety hazard.

TLDR: Flop it, Wash it, Clear it.

I'm just going to throw this out there.

My windshield was streaky. It has been below freezing here in Maryland. Frustrated with the wide streaky arcs across my windshield, I rolled down my window a little while driving and pulled the blade away from the windshield and let it plop back into place (going about 40mph at this point). Then, I tried to spray and wipe the windshield. Huzzah! It's clear. Like, it's perfectly clear. Color me surprised.

YMMV but it worked for me and will now be my go-to move when things get streaky again.

cybertruck washer does not spray enough fluid, glass too dry... I think we all have the same issue. not sure if larger jets would work or the pump staying on longer...
The wiper doesn't spray as it goes down the windshield, only up. I think it would make a big difference if it would spray going down as well so the fluid has time to spread before getting wiped.

I agree- this would be the solution! Spray on way down. Or an aftermarket wiper (for a $100k truck LOL)

That makes a lot of sense to me. I’m going in for a service call next week and will ask them about the wipers as well.

I just got back from the Tesla dealership, where I had my windshield wiper fixed for the same issue. When I went to pick it up, I noticed that no washer fluid was coming through. A technician came out to inspect it with me, and soon, two technicians were looking into the problem. They discovered that the hose near the very top of the wiper blade, where it connects, was kinked. The tubing was approximately half an inch too long, causing it to kink and block the flow of water. The technician then took out a pocket knife and literally cut off about half an inch of the tubing to prevent it from kinking, which completely fixed the issue. Here's a photo of the tubing he cut down that was kinked. He just pulled that tubing off, trimmed about half an inch off, put it back on and it worked.

Hopefully this can help a bit. It's a super simple fix that only takes a few minutes to fix.

In my experience with replacing the blade, the washer hose must be pulled out to get enough play to R&R from the blade. It will be kinked if left this way, but you can pull from the bottom of the arm to take up the slack and prevent kinking.

I don't believe it's necessary to shorten the hose, but that certainly works lol
