Windshield registration sticker.

In Texas we have to put the registration sticker, at least according to the state statute, in the lower left hand corner of the windshield. I spoke to a dmv representative over the phone and they told me I can place it anywhere on the windshield that is visible from the front. I also received an email reply stating and showing the statute that it must be in the lower left hand corner of the windshield. I’m still undecided where I’ll put the sticker when I get it delivered on Monday.

Do you have the information from the DMV representative in writing and signed?

While there may be a low chance in getting in any trouble, "A DMV representative told me" doesn't get you out of any trouble.

Since it does not specify "x inches from the bottom" or anything else like that, you've got a fair amount of latitude in placement.

I found some static sticker shields I have in my bronco for off-road stickers and wondered why I hadn’t thought of this earlier. I kept the top part long enough for my reach.
