I've had the truck about 2 months now and had to take the CT into service to have the Windshield wiper container drained and later replaced now due to some BLUE globby factory based fluid that has a terrible shelf life... Does anyone else have the issue when they press the button on the steering wheel to clean the windshield and it just spits out somewhere and cleans a few areas in a left to right fashion but still leaves big gaps of dirty areas?

I have requested to have the tubing and container replaced which they are doing next week, I will let you know if this is resolved. Im just saddened by the build quality of the truck for the windshield wiper. it seems to fail and leave water and fluid across the windshield requiring me to manually go out and wipe it down after usage every time.

thoughts ? ??

I've noticed that it is fairly thrifty on the amount of fluid dispensed, but have only had the truck a week and have not had too many bugs splatter. I will keep an eye on mine though. Was thinking to myself that if it is so sparing on the fluid that I may not need to fill the reservoir very often.

The blue sludge that is shipped with the CT is terrible, if you get it in yours you should dump and flush it immediately, it is awful, stains things and gums everything up. Better off with hose water than whatever that blue sludge is.

The day after delivery, I ran my washer pump dry to dump all that blue toilet water. I've had no problems using standard washer fluid since, and I use it every day. (Spring in Texas brings copious pollen deposits.)

Yup. Pump and dump that garbage immediately upon delivery.

I guess I better use mine up. I didn’t notice any difference though.

I thought you were trading your truck in for a Model X?

so on my wiper fluid seems to be mostly coming out the top half. The bottom half is barely a dribble. I presume blue goo issue?
