I don’t care what is put in there that ain’t the problem the problem with mine is hardly any spray gets on the Actual window and seems to just go on the wiper

i just got my CT a couple of weeks ago and I am having the same issue. I am glad to know I am not the only one.

If you only need the spray the window to drive from coffee shop to coffee shop, it might work. Maybe the Tesla engineers should drive at length in the snow sometime, and get a vision of what mud and snow on a windshield is like for the rest of us.

Just got mine last week and I can't believe how bad it is with the windshield wiper fluid. Someone mentioned earlier and I said this to my wife as well, it needs to spray MORE fluid and do it on the way DOWN, not the way up. Extremely inefficient and dangerous in snow/salt covered roads. I am contacting service to hopefully get some attention on this.

I ran mine to empty and replaced with Rainex fluid. It is yellow so less ugly on the panels. The volume may also be greater but I suspect that’s related to reduced volume as the reservoir is below the warning level.

I have same issues when it needs cleaning and I also have the issue see in the video that it doesn’t clean rain on wipe up but does on return.. I’m booked for another service…

It seems that at highway speeds the air movement past the windshield is lifting the fluid up causing it to fly away instead of getting applied to the windshield. Seems like a design flaw that will be difficult to fix.

I get zero liquid down on mine. It seems to get lifted by wind and my windshield stays dry. Really need a fix for this one. Streak city!

Yes I agree. It’s the same motion for me. It’s sprays on the way back up. I think a software fix could fix this, perhaps they can implement a fix by having the washer spray on the way down and up and automatically do one more round of washer on the way down and once more on the way up.

Also, how do we get Tesla’s attention? I’m thinking if we collect a mass amount of e-signatures then it should catch their attention. Would save time for everyone else to raise a service ticket themselves…

The more people start to bring their trucks to service centers and b*tch about lacking wiper, the faster Tesla will come up with better wiper design.

I did this week. They tried charging me $180 after telling me they tested it and it works fine. Of course I said I wasn’t paying it and they took the charge off.
And funny enough, they gave me back my truck with an extremely dirty windshield from their testing and I couldn’t clean it with the wiper ??‍

I had my truck in and asked if there’s a new redesigned wiper and they said no. They replaced the wiper though and said it helps for now. It didn’t help. I guess we’ll have to wait and see if there’s a new design in the works.
