XPEL front windshield tint issue -- fuzzy granular look

Have done this on multiple Tesla's and now the cybertruck.
I noticed a fuzzy granular look and not the usual Xpel clarity I am use to. Took it back to my shop and they agreed. They think it might be a bad batch of tint? We are waiting to hear from XPel.

Anyone else notice this??

which xpel product are you guys using? low angle haze is a thing, and I think the CT is going to be particularly prone to it because of how sloped the windshield is--could that be what you're referring to? It's one of the things that's keeping me from tinting my CT. my preferred tint after having a bunch of brands on various family cars is definitely xpel prime XR plus

Have you heard anything from Xpel? My installer is getting the cold shoulder like we don't ever make a bad product!

I reached out to them yesterday and received this response. It looks like we are in the same boat. I’m fully confident my installer will make it right even if Xpel does not respond.

“Hey Tom! Nope I haven’t heard anything back yet, I told my HR to bug them again so I will let you know sooner rather than later hopefully”
