I’m on v12.0 (2024.8.7). I don’t use sentry mode. I am in and out of my garage many times every day which causes my CT to wake up every time I go near it. I’m not sure what all happens when it wakes up. I see the door lock lights come on. I can hear it ticking if I spend time at my workbench next to the CT. All of that, and no noticable battery drain. Several little LED lights coming on will not cause a noticeable drain. I would expect more drain if it is running cameras and recording video.
I was annoyed by that happening to me as well so I turned on the option to exclude locking vehicle when at home. All better now. ?

Thanks I will do that too. And after updating the software to 12.8.8 looks like the vampires thirst has been quenched. Thats a relief!!

I already had it set to exclude locking when at home. It isn’t locked in my garage. Even with that, it senses I am around and the door lock LEDs come on.

Kind of weird but after the 2024.8.8 update the exclude auto lock when at home option broke for me. Car is auto locking while in the garage now when the old version 2024.2.100 that I was previously on was working fine. Anyone else experience the same problem?

I have 2024.8.7 and just went out to the garage without my phone and pushed the open-door spot. The door opened, the squircle rotated and the screen flashed Cybertruck. You have your home address set, right?

Just curious what is everyone’s vehicle version at the moment?

I picked up my Beast with version 2024.2.100 installed this past Saturday. Been seeing a lot of vehicles with issues on lower versions. The version I’m on seems to stable so far…*knock on wood*
Installed v12.0 ⁦(2024.8.8 560f6b88949d)⁩. 2 days ago on Cyberbeast.

Well you just debunked my theory that AWD would have different updates that Beast. I’m on 2024.2.100 with no way to upgrade yet. I’m pretty sure I don’t have auto wipers like most have reported.

Went back to look and the upgrade wiped both my saved home and work addresses. Ran into hiccup after re-entering info but solved by getting the vehicle out of P and back. Works now! ??

Not sure if you did this already but on your Software menu set it to Advanced and wait a few days. You will see the update. ?

Tesla tends to keep all models in a specific line the same. It's feature differences, like FSD and HW4 and USS presence that commonly have different software.

One fix to stop waking CT while it is parked in the garage as you walk in and out all day: kill the Tesla app on your phone when you are home. The CT won't wake when you walk by, but the doors still open because it isn't locked at home. Of course, you will have to start the app when you want to drive somewhere.
