YouTube Access : "Sorry, you can't access YouTube for Mobile Web with your account"

Do you guys have a workaround for this yet? The first time I opened the app I am met with this message. I searched the forum and did a little googling but haven’t been able to figure it out yet.

So all jokes aside, I figured this out on my own. I’m leaving it here for the next guy. Go to settings/service/clear browser data. Clear the cache and you’re back in business.

I saw something about that as well but how would it be linked to my account if I have never logged in- in the truck?

I received this message after trying to login with my daughter’s YouTube kids account. I was hoping I could play her profile on the rear theater and stop filling my algorithm with kids programming. Because it’s a kid account it doesn’t have the same permissions and that’s why I got the issue.

Thanks so much for the solution on this. You can see my prior post of why I had occurred to me. Now I can have a peaceful four hour our car ride home by not having screaming kids and now they can watch their YouTube.

I've never been able to login to my YouTube account because I have MFA setup.

Tesla has never fixed this, and I suspect they won't until they redesign and release their "app" store.

I actually use YouTube in the truck quite a bit so I like being logged in to my personal profile. I also don’t like my algorithm filled with all of the kid stuff so I just ask my daughter to either use the other profile on my account or use the guest profile. She is happy with that and it works for us.

I have MFA set up where I get a prompt in GMAIL and I have no issue. But it might depend on the type of MFA you have set up.

ooh, I’d love to get this to happen on our youtube in the CT. Any idea what was causing the error screen?
It’s my least-favorite feature of the FS, free lifetime internet + YT has my kids doom-scrolling Shorts whenever they can get inside the truck. I want to block all YT access, really.

Just block the rear screen access from the center screen if they won’t leave it alone. My daughter only gets access to streaming on road trips. She doesn’t like having the screen locked so she leaves it alone.
