How does this work on other Teslas? An internal camera in the truck and the main screen or does it use the camera from your phone? I read that other models have this functionality and would love to have it in our CT.

In the Model 3 & Y it uses the interior cam (on the rear view mirror mount)

It works with other Tesla vehicles. Not sure about the CT yet as I havenā€™t tried it. You have to link your calendar with the vehicle so it knows the meeting information. Weā€™ve done it a few times in our MY.

Yeah, I noticed the CT peeks at my calendar and will start navigating to my appointments. Unfortunately it also decides every day to tell me how to get to work? "Shut up, I know I turn left here duhhhhhhh"

Yes, but did you know that by "turning left here today", you would end up stuck in construction or an accident that shut down the road? Navigation tells you that you can save half an hour by going the other way.

The Tesla nav has advanced features, for sure. But even with a stop for coffee, my commute is 15 minutes lol

Copy that. Nice to have such a short commute. For the rest of the forum though......

Oh, I've spent plenty of time staring at rear bumpers during "rush" hour. I finally started looking at homes closer to my job, even though they were far more expensive. Not only did this save me 5-10 hours per week of travel, the fuel savings alone nearly balanced out the higher housing cost!

But now I have a truck I like to sit in, maybe I should move further away lol

Yes. FSD drives me to and from work almost everyday (I cannot help but step on the pedal every now and then). I am moving to the mountains.

I havenā€™t set my work location so I can avoid that. I get it heading home from work though. šŸ˜’

The automatic navigation can be turned off, but then you don't get it for anything.

Same with the nav voice audio, it can be quieter or even off, but then you don't get it ever. Hmmph.
