I found out the haze on the inside of the windshield is the result of the plastics in the dashboard off-gassing and sticking to the windshield, according to my tint professional. I noticed the haze would return one or two days after I cleaned the windshield so I asked. He said it will subside over time. It's common for dashboards and carpet in new cars to off-gas as the they heat up. His recommendation is a spray bottle containing purified water with 4-5 drops of baby shampoo. It's what they use to clean windows before a tint and what they use to lubricate and set the tint material.
I did not tint the windshield yet ($1200 was his quote for 3M Ceramic) but he said the solution works whether your windows are tinted or not. I made the solution and put it in a glass spray bottle from Target to keep in the CT. He's right; it works. It also doesn't evaporate too fast like Windex and any drips on the dash won't discolor anything because it's basically water.
