Just wanted to share I’ve been looking for a fridge that fits inside of the cyber truck for short camping trip and road trips (since towing even my TigerMoth is a hassle without the promised 500 mile range).

I tried this one which fits great in the center consul, but as many have been vocal about, really isn’t a fridge (and mine was DOA so I just sent it back).

PUNEDA 12V Car Refrigerator... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CFTKD16J?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I then stumbled upon this one!

BougeRV 12 Volt Refrigerator 12V... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BPM6XDH2?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Fits perfectly in the backseat with the passenger rear flipped up. I can access everything from the driver seat with one hand door open completely turn it sideways and you still got the entire drivers rear bench for seating (in my case, dogs). Looks great with the cyberbeast interior especially since I have tactical Bri and the top is a kind-of sparkly gunmetal situation.

Also, supposedly low energy draw can’t really comment on that but I’m heading out on a trip from Vegas to Memphis over the weekend and I’ll update with how it goes.

If you are looking for a quick, non-powered option for a cooler that sits under the dash between the driver and passenger, this cooler is a great option. It is an inexpensive option that does the job keeping things cool. When I work on the farm, I take this with a few bottles of water/Gatorade and some ice packs and they stay cold all day. This was a good find. At first I thought it was another anemic Peltier Junction design but, no, this has a proper Carnot cycle compressor! I looked around and these can be found running on 48V so maybe soon we'll see something that works in the frunk with the 48V feed available there.

For actual camping, I have this blue eddy set up which I got on indiegogo and it’s awesome hands-down the best system out there! Hot-swappable batteries, all the usual connectivity features, better than anything else I’ve owned.

As far as the frunk, I’m have this guy:

I will buy this, well priced, been told its great.

Also, IMO the best brand name out there. lol.

Looks like a super cool product, but in no way does it meet my criteria of being able to fit inside the cabin without taking up too much space. And with the latching mechanism being two separate clips is not something that I can access while in motion.

That thing looks robust as hell and has a really cool name, but as of this summer if I’m out for an extended camping trip this is my system. The hot-swappable batteries and versatility make this system better than anything out there, bar-none, as far as I’m concerned.

As far as fitting inside the cabin with a smaller footprint as possible and being a proper icebox/freezer I didn’t find anything that even comes close to the BougeRV if somebody’s got something I’d love to see it.

Yeah, wasn’t it you commenting on that other cooler that was posted? If so, you’re the one who inspired me to really go hunting to find something that was a true refrigerator/freezer. After using it yesterday for a quick trip up the local mountains I can tell you it’s powerful starting in triple digits by the time I got up to my spot (less than an hour drive) I had frozen pickle bites and had supercooled beverages (that iced up upon being opened) because it was set on 32 and it got there quick!
