I know they serve an important purpose but I believe I would have to replace those. I not a big wheel/rim guy but there comes a point I have to say no.

No

Looks good to me. I'll save the $5k and get wheels and tires that suit my needs.

These caps look terrible, but could Tesla at least take SOME effort and line up the ugly caps so that the spokes/splines match the tire indents?! I bet even Tesla hates these cursed caps. :)

A Cybertruck spotted on roads with the standard base aero wheel covers. These are the covers that non-Foundation Series Cybertrucks will get.
I'm here to question the validity this statement about all non-foundation CT getting these mickey mouse wheel covers.

No way that's true right? Though it would depend on your tire selection at ordering?

So, yes, if you get the base road tire then you get these cheesy mickey club covers?

Oddly this is a <1 minute fix per tire as these are a two part wheel cover that lets you rotate that to line up perfectly.

Awhile back ago, we had a chat about wheel options:

Wheels Revealed: 18" Base, 20" Base, and Premium Wheel | Tesla Cybertruck Forum - News, Discussions, Community - Cybertruckownersclub.com

Won't we be able to choose the premium wheel option for our non-FS cybertruck orders?

I am definitely not a fan of these smaller wheels. Definitely weak sauce!
Yea I should have said: These are the covers that Cybertrucks with Base wheels (not Premium Wheels option) will get. Fixed.

For the Model 3, there was a similar stink about the Aero covers. Some loved them, many hated them.
But the wheels underneath look a little similar to the Cybertrucks wheel, from what I can tell. And some loved this look and again others hated it.

I started by keeping the Aero covers on, I then took them off for every day use and back on for travelling.
Buth then I got lazy, it's been a couple of years since I've had them on. And wile they are similar 2-5% loss of range, in reality, it never matters.

So my Aero covers are off and I'm happy. Your truck, your choice, and there will be third -party covers and wheels.

Still passionate for your dream spinner?

Will it be with those blinking multi-colored lights? ?

They were trying to make them ugly so you upgrade lol.

But maybe since they have them out and about maybe that means base options will be available soon.

(Along with non-FS) lol
