support payload of 3,500lbs, tow 14,000lbs and huge amount of storage space (vault). The Cybertruck tri-motor will be able to do all three of those
yes, the tri might if it meets unveil specs - and I suspect it will

but the tri is going to be a rarely available configuration for a while

so the more immediate question is whether the dual motor will meet - or better, exceed - the unveil payload/tow specs

Finally! An indisputable world standard size for a chicken (I suggest we use the term "Chikn" to avoid confusion with those variable size birds that cross roads.).

I am!
...

No, we need a standard and I stand by Costco's roast chicken box. They're "chicken" size, obviously. And they're all the same, as far as I can tell. ...
Plus the added benefit that they are stackable to fit several in a small space. This way you can carry a whole stack around so you can easily use multiple boxes to get a measurement.

Right on!

And Buddy measuring!

One buddy unstacks the chikn boxes and the other buddy shoves 'em into the space to be measured. No more estimating! Stuff that space full, take a quick pic for proof (in landscape dang-it), yank them c-boxes out of there and head for home. Wait! Did you count 'em? OK, good. Whew.... write that down so we don't forget!

Hey, get a third buddy to video the whole thing (you know it's coming......LANDSCAPE!) and you have yourself the makings of a YouTube goldmine...

A little after market net to go across the front to stop spillage from any shifted groceries and that’s money.
I agree, a net across the front makes sense. Hope after market items are available for that.

I'm still hopeful that Tesla has inverters and a set of power outlets planned for the deliverable production design, as after all like some have pointed out, there were outlets in the vault for the Cybertruck in the original 2019 reveal, which were used to charge the Cyberquad.

As @Crissa mentioned more than once in this thread, there are various ways a frunk liner can be changed/remolded fairly quickly, as it's just an injection molded shroud. There are also many ways that vault sections could be changed before production, so I'm hoping there are possibly outlets Tesla is working on (hopefully) that we haven't yet seen.

For all we know, Tesla may already have those frunk liner or vault liner assembly sections being tested and have decided not to expose them yet in early release candidates. Testing the inverters and outlets and their load on Battery Management Systems (BMS), can be done in a static mock-up without them necessarily needing to be installed on an early operational release candidate. Tesla might be still deciding the number, types and arrangement of outlets and may not want to expose them to public view until they're finalized.

A lot of speculation above I know, and @Crissa is likely echoing preferences that many may want to install their own inverters and outlets if they are not standard or available as a feature from Tesla. One challenge in doing this will be tapping power for aftermarket inverters (because if Tesla doesn't include outlets, they most likely won't be providing any inverters either). Tesla's BMS has been known to astutely monitor battery State of Charge (SOC) versus monitored usage, even with the 12volt battery in the Model 3 as well. Someone (can't remember who, but it might've been i1Tesla) attempted to wire an aftermarket Blackvue dash cam directly to the 12volt batter to constantly surveil even when the car was parked (parking mode), but then it caused errors to be generated for the 12volt battery likely because the BMS couldn't account for where the extra battery drain was coming from.

If someone tapped power from the pack somehow for outlet inverters, and the BMS didn't monitor battery state of charge carefully to alert via the Tesla app or UI, then it's possible extended outlet usage could drain the pack to an extremely low level that could damage the pack. Without outlets being integrated with the BMS, there is still a danger to the pack even if errors/alerts are generated, because someone might not be monitoring the Tesla app or UI during usage of said outlets, and thus would be ignoring such errors anyway until it was too late.

In any implementation of external outlets for the Cybertruck, Tesla will no doubt integrate said outlets with the BMS such that their usage will be limited or cut off, once the battery pack reaches a certain SOC, just as Sentry Mode doesn't work once the pack is 20% or below on current models now. So I'm inclined to believe that if the BMS detects an unusual or unknown battery drain not expected of known onboard systems, then it would generate errors to alert to have the vehicle serviced.

I'm also just as inclined to believe however, that BMS integrated outlets will be included anyway, because I think many of us can recall Elon actually posting or mentioning the use case of such outlets and/or air compressors on the cybertruck at a construction job site giving enough power for tools, etc. Let's hope these ideal features were well actuated when he was mentioning them, and will still become reality in features on the production Cybertrucks delivered. I'm still hoping some things will be shown at an updated Cybertruck reveal, which we've not seen before.
