I heard CT will be equipped with drones. But UFO? Now we are talking.

The only thing Elon has given away for free. ???
Ha-ha!

1) Model 3 scale model, received with both my and my wife's Model 3 purchases.
2) Water treatment systems for schools in Flint, MI to have safe drinking water.
3) Satellite communication systems for Ukranian troops worth hundreds of millions of dollars.
4) Countless other generous donations...

It was probably this one. Looks like it's barely hanging on in this pic.

It looks like even when they are installed correctly, at high speed, they can catch a lot of air underneath the hubcap.

It would be interesting to see a simulation to see if there is a pressure buildup under it.

in other words to see if what is shown in your photo is the cause of the incident or the symptom of the flawed design.

Edit: other hubcaps don’t seem to trap air as much:

I think it got curbed.
You can see the rub mark on the tire and the point on the hubcap is discolored.
I wish I'd said something when I noticed it the other day. Maybe someone with an X account could've "X'd" at Elon to let him know his hubcap was loose.

Could this 'bellows' mode be a thing for 'boating'?!?!?

That's fine with me. For almost 4 years since the night of the reveal, those hubcaps were the ONLY thing about the Cybertruck that I didn't like. When I saw them in person at the Petersen, it confirmed my total dislike, and I had already made up my mind they were coming off at delivery.

This is GREAT! Now hopefully Tesla will get rid of those crappy things!!!!!

If CT is suppose to float, there must be a mechanism to move it forward. If there was a way to use the wheels, that would eliminate the need for a propeller.
