Too bad they frequently show the car following another car. It is unclear whether FSD is doing what it should or mimicing what the other car is doing. I suspect the former but having the lead car makes it ambiguous.

Had to stop the video.. was giving me road rage.

lol
It was more that Yanni music that was giving me rage!

Also, that “child!” Who was the model for that? Henry Winkler?

I think the car in front was there to occlude/hide what was coming to demonstrate the reaction time of FSD.

I hope the cops caught the clown who threw the cone out of the passenger window! ?

Seriously, thanks for sharing. Sent to my ever-skeptical wife. (It won’t convince her.)

Those cars looks like they have Ladar/sensors/Radars on top of them.

My biggest concern with FSD at this point is that the truck can’t handle the sunshine right in it’s eyes… Driving home for an hour with zero interventions, we changed directions facing directly into the sun. I told my wife “watch it’s gonna give up” Sure enough it gave up and made me take over. I’ve had this happen multiple times both morning and evening when the sun is right in your eyes…. The car can’t give up when there’s no steering wheel or brakes so what’s the solution? ?

Thanks for sharing the video. But I think it is somehow misleading for CT owners. I also looked up some of those video before I had my own FSD. When I tried to it initially, I thought I should keep my hands OFF the wheel like seen in those video. But I got one and then two strikeout quickly. Now I know for the FSD on our truck, you need to have your hand(s) on the wheel with some force.

Sounds like you either aren't using it correctly (i.e. not looking at the road) or there's something wrong eith your interior camera.

You mean hand-off is a correct way for FSD in CT?

Not a matter of being correct, it's just not nessasry to keep hand(s) on the wheel if your eyes remain on the road. The interior camera will verify that you are...

I don't touch the wheel unless I get a nag from wearing sunglasses. Make sure your eyes are actually on the roadway.

The camera can tell if you are playing around with a phone.
