From what I can, rather cannot see, is any evidence that there is a ramp in the tailgate.
The hints* I see that there isn't a ramp, are the tailgate limiting cables aren't long enough to allow the gate to open past 90˚ and doesn't appear to have an optional second attachment point to shift the cable to when you want to open it further. ??

*granted, it may be that you can disconnect them and allow the hinge to provide the stop, I'm just saying I don't see anything to bolster hope.

Yeah, I never understood how they were going to fit an extendable ramp in what looks like 2 feet or less, that had enough weight capacity to be practical, without making the tailgate weigh a ton. I mean, if it were possible, I think they would have done it, I just don't see it.

I will settle for adjustable suspension making the tailgate low enough that a relatively short set of ramps, slid in the bed, will suffice. The problem with current 1/2 ton 4x4 is that the tailgates are so high off the ground, you need a ramp longer than what will fit in a 6 1/2 foot bed. And it can be scary loading and unloading all but the lightest motorcycles (because they are so far off the ground). The higher the bed, and the longer the ramp, the stronger and heavier it needs to be.

I feel you, I stare harder at these CT pictures than I did scrambled adult channels as a kid

Hmmm.... I think I saw more new content in the scrambled channel feeds than I do currently in these CT pictures.

It’s the Cyberbench! Looks like it’ll fit two adults shoulder-to-shoulder. Better than the anemic frunks that Hyundai/Kai EVs have, but not as massive as the Ford F-150 Lightning’s.

The edge of that tailgate looks sharp as hell. I’d hate to run my leg into that thing trying to get into the bed. They need to put a rubber coating on it or something.

Yeah, these CT's are starting to look old in a hurry. They're all oxidized 'n shit, that's a bad look. Imagine what it'll look like in ten years. I think most of you should start cancelling orders pronto!

I mean, if it were possible, I think they would have done it, I just don't see it.
Well, I think we have an entire car company built around disproving THAT theory!

So what you’re saying is, Tesla hasn’t done anything (yet) to make you believe that they might POSSIBLY do something that no one else has figured out how to do???

It does appear that one of those external cables through the windows leads to the light bar. :(

Perhaps it just for prototype testing before doing a real factory install?

Where do you want the power to traverse to the light bar? The top is solid glass back to the bed. There are the 2 side rails but I think they are solid (short of the mounting points for racks). Maybe some sort of induction power transmission through the glass to the light bar?

If the light bar was behind the glass, it would be much easier to power. But it would need to stick to the glass like the front camera does so no light leaks into the cabin.
