If you have an outlet (110, 220, 221, whatever it takes*) then you can have as big a compressor as your job needs. A carpenter using a pin nailer, a detailer using a buffer, a roadside assist airing a tire, all have different needs from a compressor. How could you make all of these work on a single truck? Not likely. I think the outlet and BYOC is a better option.I have an accessory compressor in my 2002 Yukon. It cost me about $100 and lives under the back seat.
I'll miss that ramp, though. Maybe the aftermarket will come up with something better than what I can find at Northern Tool.
