Assume 2 options: Dual is $59,900 with 350 range and Tri-Motor is $79,900 with 500 mile range.

4 years later ,accounting for inflation, your poll has comparative prices.

To expect less , is to expect to buy a house at 2019 prices.

$59,900 for dual seems like an UNreasonable 10% (corrected, lol) 20% increase to account for inflation. I don't go on that many super long road trips, so 350 mile range would be adequate for my needs. My Tesla S had 200 mile range, which wasn't quite enough to suit me, sometimes, so 350 mile range would be a great improvement for my use cases. Also, I had originally reserved a dual motor Cybertruck. If they could hit the originally estimated prices, that would be awesome, as well.

I took the poll without reading the first post and assumed the rumored understanding of both trims having similar range. If the Tri does in fact have 500 then that would be my actual vote.

My ideal CT would be dual motor, 500 mile. Unfortunately it probably won't be an option. Before you bash me on range desires, be aware that NV, AZ, UT, CO and NM are huge states. Getting to the North Rim even with a 402 miles Model S is very difficult. Fortunately we found a motel with a destination charger in the boondocks.

The buzz is that the Tri-Motor Performance version, will have less range than the Dual motor. (rumor)

And, as everyone knows by now, range has nothing to do with the # of motors, it is how big of a battery they stuff in the vehicle.

I don't know what the range will be for the first two variants but I think 500 miles is a pipe dream for a truck.

Actually, 59,900 is a 20% increase from the 49,900 original price.

But still not a bad jump considering.

Now, what's the final cost with all the extras beyond the base price..

Isn’t the tri motor ”plaid” already leaked at 100K?

What options and how many to be shipped are my questions.

BTW, would 2 and 3 motor use the same giga castings or might Tesla have to reconfigure the lines for different production runs?
