Pretty much, yes - adding say 0.5” to each

note that in addition to low/medium/high, Land/Range Rovers have a ~little known “extended mode” that takes the vehicle even higher than “high” - but activating it requires eg getting the vehicle high-centered, and is basically an emergency height for *extraction* only

Definitely went up at least 4 inches. I wish it could stay there permanently. I’m 6’6 and have a different entry height than most people.

What was that German car, back in the 60's that would hydraulically raise and lower upon starting up and parking?

Is it doing this every time it parks, or only on command? Are we worried about over working the air compressors and pneumatic valves?

Seems like there would.have to be adequate air storage or you would have heard the compressor in the sequence.

Now if each wheel had to lift 2000#, who could.figure out the size of each air cylinder at an operating pressure of 100#. The fun of reverse engineering.

I’m very impressed with the LED light bar on the front. It emits a strong white light that’s very homogeneous across the entire length of the bar. I appears to be brighter than the front LED light bars on the Lightning or R1T.

Maybe Tesla was inspired by Audi and they installed OLED lighting up front.

I hope it will take the terrain into account when it lowers. My sister once borrowed my Model S and when she backed out of a parking spot the front bumper cover got yanked off. ? She swears it didn't drag on anything when she pulled in, so the only hypothesis I could come up with to explain it was that the suspension lowered after she pulled in and set the car down on the stopping block in the spot.

The camera based occupancy network terrain mapping could prevent similar situations. Especially given the higher resolution cameras obstructions could be mapped at millimeter accuracy to allow the vehicle to adjust the ride and entry height to fit the situation. If you straddle an object in a parking space, be it a sharp metal (battery puncturing) object, or a sack filled with abandoned kittens, the CyberTruck should refuse to set down onto it just to make getting in/out a little easier.
