It's a battery pack that fits in the bed. What exactly is a “range extender” and can it be added after you take delivery to keep the price below the Federal tax credit/rebate??? Do you think it’s an extra physical battery or just a software add on?
Oh power feed roof. I guess that's how the light bar gets powered and toggled on/off. But power feed frunk is something we haven't seen from all the frunk shots.![]()
Check this out. Maybe it's not 120VAC, but 48 VDC?
470+ is pretty close, and I'm actually glad it doesn't require the crazy top end CYBERBEAST. I see no reason to pay a lot more for 130mph or 2.6 0-60 in a massive pickup truck, 112 and 3.9 is more than wild enough. I remember the days when under 4 seconds was FAST, and today 112 is still plenty illegal.I agree, initially it was over 500 miles
It is a 60% increase, original price $50k, take 60% you get 30k, total price $80k. Way to much considering ev in general have gone down in price. All of you guys saying that we are crazy for not expecting a price hike. You guys are ridiculous. I could understand a 10% or even a 20% markup, and I would have been okay with that. But 40%! Forget it, only the very rich would be okay with that.
It has been 4 years not a freaking decade. a $30K increase from what they promised is absurd. Enjoy your overpriced polygon. It's a good product but dang $80k for a mid-model that can't get 350 miles of range is a flop . I don't give a crap if it is faster than a Porsche. This is not a utility truck anymore, this just became a luxury vehicle to flash around other trucks, and for that reason, I'm out.
These prices are correct. The ones above are with the “gas savings” added. I don’t like when they do that. Seems deceptive.
It's not about the economics. LOL, I already have a 1999 F150 that still runs fine.Hell you can buy a shit load of used pickups
Hey, we at least won't be having to expect dealer markups. ?They literally priced it for the common man. Its not insane for people to be like wtf with the pricing! Its like they literally didn't do basic math when they made the initial announcement. There is a drastic difference in this situation of being baited with pricing for the common man and then switched to pricing for luxury item. Especially given all the statements about it being meant to be a utilitarian vehicle for blue collar buyers.
