Your powered coolers may be 120v ready, but they're probably 12V DC powered. You likely have a 120v AC to DC converter. My Igloo is <70 watts. So, if yours are similar you have few options:
  1. Use the 120v in the rear of the console with your 120V converter. (takes up rear cabin space 🫤)
That would work for driving, provided it fits with the kids, but not for overnight charging (when those outlets are also off).

Ultimately our aim is to do what we did a few years ago with our model S... spend 2 months of summer driving around some part of the country, staying in AirBnBs. Part of the reason we stopped doing that and got an RV is because I hated bringing in the freezer cooler, the fridge cooler, the medicine cooler box every day and packing and unpacking the fridge in the AirBnB. I'm hoping with the Cybertruck I can just bring in the food and medicines we need that night.

  1. Power a couple with the 65 W USB C outlets in the back seat (you'll need an adapter for USB C to whatever proprietary plug your cooler uses)
We haven't purchased the coolers yet... I was considering Anker everfrost... maybe by the time the Cybertruck is available to me there will be usb-c powered coolers.
  1. Install some power panel to the frunk enclosure (120 outlet or a bank of USB C outlets connected to the 400 W 48V power feed under the frunk tub. (Involves a lot of customization, i.e. not a quick solution, but! once you get it installed, is the best for ease and space utilization. The frunk is probably well suited for coolers.
Yeah I've been starting to think about the 400w frunk, I assume it always gets power? Maybe teslafridge.com will come out with something that is 48v and fills the cybertruck frunk with several different compartments at settable temperatures that can be wired in... that would be ideal! (or maybe something that takes exactly up half the frunk and I can buy 2)

Sigh: "The bed cargo outlets are disabled while in Drive". The whole point of those 120v cargo outlets for me is to run some powered coolers in the back to keep fridge/freezer/medicine stuff at the right temperature for a month or two on a road trip. Oh, except that power to the 120v outlets is also disabled while charging. So much for road tripping with a powered cooler, it will be off while driving or charging. So now I have to get a large battery pack for the back which is charged by the truck when parked and runs the coolers while driving? Maybe an Anker F3800? I'm sure the engineers had a reason to do this, and I'm glad they are thinking, I just wish they had solved the problem instead.
That is unfortunate for a few reasons like construction workers wanting to have their tool batteries being charged while on the go to/from/between sites.

I have a 6 seat TMX and have a fridge between the captains chairs in the 2nd row. We use this on long road trips and have it on 24x7. It does 120v or 12v.

As for the CT, certainly, the inside cabin 120v plugs are energized at least while driving but I see not while while charging. The cabin and bed 120v plugs are independent as we read on OP.
I'd likely put my fridge inside anyway for easy access. It is fantastic while roadtriping for snacks, drinks, and lunches.

Future outlet usage WHILE charging per Drew Baglino (Tesla lead eng).

“Appluing” the brakes. I’ve never noticed a spelling error in a Tesla manual before, so that’s interesting.

With regard to the suspension height settings, in on-road modes you can only choose between low, medium, and high. After driving greater than 10/25 mph or 100 ft, it always reverts to your preferred driving height. Selecting a setting at faster than 10/25 mph it will not change. Preferred driving height can only be set to lower or higher. Lower keeps the truck in low suspension height at all times. Higher only uses low or medium heights and adjusts automatically depending on speed. Highway speed is always low.

So in on-road modes the high suspension setting is only usable at less than 10/25 mph for less than 100 ft for purposes of entering/exiting a steep driveway or other obstacle, and cannot be used at speed in any way.

Basically the truck is almost always in low suspension and the only time it would be higher than that is if you set preferred ride height to higher, in which case it will only be at medium and only at city driving speeds.

Also the difference between suspension heights is 0.6 inches from low to entry and 1.6 inches from medium to low.
2.2 inches of lowering for entry mode IF your preferred ride height is higher, only 0.6 if your preferred ride height is higher.

Obviously I don’t have the truck yet so I don’t know how much benefit it makes, but I had thought entry mode would make a bigger difference for kids being able to reach the door open buttons. 2.2 inches from medium is noticeable but if you keep preferred ride height to low it seems like it won’t be making much of a change.

Re: 1010 lbs cargo bed limit Dual motor

I found this section of the manual and went frame-by-frame trying to find a clear view of a larger section of it than the opening post.
-- as one scenario it shows an example of five (5) people weighing 150 lbs each.

This looks to me like. CYA blurb.
I have a stainless steel hot tub.

material is about same thickness as the CT, but of course could be a different composition

given the difference in composition could mean the CT is better or worse in these respects:

stainless steel, outdoors, is not such an easy keeper as some expect

As long as it's not gonna rust out on me. Should be alright.

But it sounds like a wrap may be in my future

“corrosion” in stainless doesn’t necessarily mean “rust” in the normal sense

As likely to be pitting

Going to really depend on how the surface has been finished, chemically

and to the point of the owner’s manual: when scratches occur, that chemical finish and corrosive barrier is removed, meaning the ‘bare’ steel is exposed

those “scratches” can be from folks trying to use abrasives to remove stains/contaminates

while paint has its downsides and stainless its upsides, at least with paint we general public have a hundred years of collective experience under our belts

I really don’t know what to expect - I’m for the same reasons merely cautious/dubious that the CT panels will be set-it-and-forget-it
