Crazy question. My aunt has a house in LA. I don't know any California laws. But would it be possible to change my profle address to that and pick up the vehicle there? It will be registered in CA, but could I register it under my name in CA and drive it back to Pennsylvania?

I bought my Honda Ridgeline in California and then drove it back to Colorado. I never registered it in Ca. I just got a 3 day pass to drive it to CO and register it here.

You need to swap it even if you do

you need gateway, connector, a transfer switch and open heart surgery on your main breaker panel + a critical loads panel or an MPU

So this foundation series is why they deleted the "no resale" provision in the contract.

Pretty smart move for Tesla, but it just astounds me that they almost went with the former in the first place. Was that a joke or did they come up with this Founders Addition after the blowback?

Sometimes I think there are some magic mushrooms involved with Tesla upper management.

Many people have multiple residences. Could we say our primary residence is PA but have a house in Los Angeles?

Put my preorder in the night of the unveiling for a tri motor no self driving.

I have one little weird note that nobody has mentioned and I still think is probably bs so take it for a grain of salt. But I visited the Santana Row Tesla shop in Northern California to see the truck and the kid there was trying to convince people with Cybertruck preorders to sign up for any vehicle test drive and saying that if you did it would put you further up in queue. Tesla already had my contact info and I always appreciate a little harmless hustle so I signed up with him thinking maybe Tesla will give him a little bonus or something if he collected enough test drives. Again I think it’s just coincidence but had to mention it in case it happened to anyone else. If so I need to go give that kid a drive haha.

Do we know how many foundation series are being made?

Man I really just want the normal dual motor long range that would qualify for the tax credit haha. An extra $20k and no tax credit is rough
