Put in 2 preorders this was the first one. Can’t remember which one I preordered first the dual or the tri both with FSD.

I ordered the cyberbeast ended up being 122k or something like that.

Originally when I preordered it was 70k plus 7k for FSD and a range of 500mi?. So 77k total, not 122k, and less range. I haven’t decided if I’m going to go through with the purchase, but paid the non refundable $250. Just not sure I want to spend 122k+taxes/title on a truck. And the fact they put the “no resale” clause in there throws a real curve ball. What happens If I don’t like it, or something comes up and I need to sell? I have to sell it back to them for a discount of what I paid? I’m torn…

But, Tesla didn't give me a delivery date when I completed the order.

The app only says that they will "notify me when it's time to complete pre-delivery tasks"

Is this normal? Or, did people get delivery dates? I just wanted to make sure im not missing any steps to complete the order.

What y'all think?

Yes, that is normal when ordering a Tesla that isn't in inventory. Your vehicle still needs to be produced. Once you are assigned a VIN and your car is almost ready for delivery then they will have you complete additional steps.

Just a speculation... It's Sat, they may resume the invitation on Monday if the allocation for the first 1000 Foundation versions are still not filled. Not all invitees accept the offer anyway. A few even rejected outright due to the premium. There is still hope for low reservation holders in RN1127xx and RN1128xx ranges.

Go dual if you want it delivered faster, more range, better off road crawling with lockers. Go TM if you want to keep a collectors item, and have better onroad with torque vectoring.

I’m not sure that bit about crawling is true. The two rear motors are virtually lockable in the tri motor vs mechanical locking in the dual. The end result is likely the same.

That’s correct. No official word from Tesla. Most are going of precedent where other “Founder” series vehicles were limited to 1000.

interestingly, none of the Foundation series CTs that have been photographed have the Lightbar even though it it Included with the TM. So a lot of things are still up in the air…
