High quality like UPP
No no.
Upfitters like AEV, ARB, Artec, RockKrawler, Camburg, Icon Vehicle Dynamics, Truck Hero, bomb proof axle maker RCV performance, ball joint makers like Dynatrac, roof rack makers Rebel Offroad etc and the only portal maker id ever trust, 74 Weld . These companies don’t make chintzy garbage. They make actual upgrades that increase durability and utility.

there’s also a company I hold a tiny stake that will bring a couple really cool interior upgrades that have never been done to any EV before. More on that once one of us gets ahold of one to begin the process. Hopefully something to show by SEMA.

And you have evidence that UPP makes "chintzy garbage"?

ask them for their crash test reports on the parts they currently offer. I see at least two glaring design flaws In the lift they are displaying for the CT and the fact that they are even including carbon fiber fenders in their “overlanding upgrades” section is so laughable that they might as well start adding wings. Don’t even get me started on the threaded rods they are passing off as swaybar disconnects. The bumper designs are jokes.

the difference between the companies I referenced (and by no means is it a complete list) and UPP is that those companies have many years if not decades building vehicles that win off road races like king of the hammers or spend hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars vetting out crash worthiness, studying payload & towing ramifications and really intricate stability studies for when shit hits the fan.

you do you but in no way would I ever trust and 850hp, 3.5 ton truck on 35 - 40” tires to drive better and be safer on and off road with them vs any of the companies I mentioned.

I mean, randy pobst trusts them to race up pikes peak and others set gridlife laguna records. In a 1000hp plaid.

They may new to the game but that doesn't mean they are bad.

Kinda like Tesla and auto

Plus, how long have those companies been doing EVs?
