That wheelbase keeps it super-planted going up and down but it's also a hindrance at the top and bottom.

Just amazing seeing them do this. More than half the guys in the 4x4 spelunking club I was a part of in university wanted to do this stuff but wouldn't make it up.

That's why it's amazing.

Some other videos on this YT channel of going down this slowly BUT going up it was impressive to me. That did not look trivial.

He seemed to pick a good line going up, but I'd like to see these guys air-down and not bump their way up so fast. Good way to ruin a vehicle.

Well, we don't know the offroad experience of drivers in these videos.

What is the air-down PSI that they can go without beaded rims like these Unplugged Performance [url] ones?

It's cool to see some more offroad footage. It doesn't look like it has much articulation, but with higher ground clearance, momentum, and little regard for breaking stuff, it's a much better look vs getting stuck in a small snow hill while getting a Christmas tree.

My personal mantra is 15 psi for slow rocky roads, and 10 for soft sand. BUT...I don't drive like a maniac. If I find myself speeding up, like over 15 mph, I'll add air. scottf200, you're right about the perspective of YouTube videos. They really don't do justice to actually being there in person.

I will simply be happy if my Cybertruck won't repeat my whole life flashing before my eyes where I'm going downhill in a muck after a vrry heavy rain, my 4x4 engage in 4-lo, I'm not touching any pedals the wheels not going to where I wanted it to be and there in front is a 1,000-feet of emptiness.

And while hunting wild boar, two of my left tires fell into very deep rut and it took most of the day for someone to find me. A turkey hunter with better equipped truck and better eye-sight able to avoid a similar situation as mine.
YES! I when down BLACKBEAR ROAD in the rain…had to do several 3 point turns in my CJ inches from the cliff…with a clutch (GF walked and it got so scared she go back in). gotta try CT from a dead stop slowly.
