Oh boy, so do you probably think the pole on this post is irrelevant ?It’s statistically irrelevant, factually unverifiable, and has no basis beyond this forum and your feeling that people answered honestly.
I think it’s fun to explore.Oh boy, so do you probably think the pole on this post is irrelevant ?![]()
I showed my work. The production of previous Model Y production should mean Tesla could make thousands of Cybertrucks right now. They are making maybe 100's at most. It’s well known, go listen to the earnings call. Tesla plainly said they would be battery constrained and would ramp 4680s with the truck.
Since you’re contradicting Tesla the burden is on you, show your work.
You do know they are ramping a new version of the 4680, right? The “CyberCell”.I showed my work. The production of previous Model Y production should mean Tesla could make thousands of Cybertrucks right now. They are making maybe 100's at most.
They want to get to 250,000 production capacity by the end of the year. They of course need to increase battery capacity to scale to that level. Right now the constraint is building the new vehicle, not the battery packs.
I think the delay we are seeing right now is the 4680s being updated to a new production version. If they can get those numbers up by an additional 20% (estimated) then they absolutely will delay as long as they can.You do know they are ramping a new version of the 4680, right? The “CyberCell”.
They do not want to get to 250,000 by the end of the year, go listen to the recording.
What would truly suck is when/if Tesla starts to release the Cybertruck Foundation Series to actual customers…that those Foundation Series trucks have a “lower quality battery”.I think the delay we are seeing right now is the 4680s being updated to a new production version. It will not be removable by end users without voiding the warranty and specialized equipmentInterested in the range extender but need more info before i commit. I'd like it to be removable
This is technically a possibility that I have been concerned with. My hope is that the FS series is a program specifically created to buffer the delay in battery tech breakthrough. The "All in" price of 100-120K is aimed at the very wealthy, obviously. They will likely be buying a new CT in a couple of years anyway. What would truly suck is when/if Tesla starts to release the Cybertruck Foundation Series to actually customers…that those Foundation Series trucks have a “lower quality battery”.
So the people who waited for the non-Foundation Series potentially could have 10% to 20% increase within a few month span of release.
correct. It will be hooked directly into the high voltage rails. Absolutely not user serviceable. It will not be removable by end users without voiding the warranty and specialized equipment
I need to pull a travel trailer (6000lbs) 7500 lbs, GVWR, so I need to be able to go more than 100 miles between charging, so I hope something changes in two years when my number is up, or I will be running a generator in the back. Now that range numbers are surfacing, has you plans for the Cybertruck been altered?
I think you believe it's fun to argue with rocks!I think it’s fun to explore.
No doubt. Feelings != facts.I think you believe it's fun to argue with rocks!
I imagine so but you never know. They could always make some sort of permanent dock, with removable sections. It will not be removable by end users without voiding the warranty and specialized equipment
