I appreciate this thread. I agree with most of the suggested improvements posters have put forward. I see nothing wrong with doing this. I do hope Tesla monitors social media for ideas and suggestions that could benefit a vehicle's long-term build.

I am also a realist. Changing something costs $$ and to change one item on a vehicle probably means 10 other items need to change also. These changes costs more $$$ and even more time. I would not expect to see any changes in the foreseeable future. I believe, much like "paralysis by analysis", Tesla was stuck in a "design loop" with the CT. Elon has even alluded to as much with some of comments. Someone, finally had to say, STOP, just stop! Is it a truck? Is it safe? Then just make the damn thing and we will figure it out from there. LOL. I do believe that is where we are now.

I worked the majority of my career in the airline industry. They are rife with unofficial motto's such as, "We're not happy if until you're not happy" or "We don't care if you are pissed off, because people are being born faster than we can piss them off." Okay, somewhat cynical, but one does sometime come away believing this is the attitude of their coworkers.

Corporations, overtime, develop personalities just like people. Like people, this personality becomes entrenched and difficult to change. In my limited experience with Tesla, I have not felt the cynicism, or the lack of caring often exhibited by many of the other companies I am familiar with. I think we will get incremental improvements, but they may take a while for the CT.
