North Texas VIN assigned. Mid 900s. AWD. Non-employee. I did not click the pay now button yet.
I'm in North TX as well and placed my FS order on 12/9. What day did you place your order and are you doing anything with a trade-in? I've had a trade-in sitting with them for over a month waiting on them to provide a trade value. Thanks and congrats!

For those in California that are still waiting for a VIN and reserved early...

I'm a multiple Tesla owner since 2013, have 2 powerwalls and solar roof tiles. I am also a stockholder and have made multiple referrals for Tesla vehicles. I initially reserved the CT at the event on 11.21.2019 (RN112760XXX). I received the limited-edition foundation series order invite email on 12.08.2023. I ordered the AWD CT the same day (12.08.2023). I live in Southern California close to the Irvine service center and have yet to receive a VIN. However, I did request a trade-in offer on my 2017 Model S. My trade-in offer is still pending. I am getting financing through a partner lender and not Tesla because the APR Tesla's partner offered (Santander Consumer USA) was higher (8.36%) than Alliant Credit Union (6.99%). I did chat with a Tesla rep and they said my trade-in offer will not be sent until they assign me a VIN. They also said the VIN will be assigned when "it's your turn in line".

12/8. No trade in. I opened the app about an hour ago, and there it was.

Nice! Taking delivery at the Plano or Cedar Springs location? I’m wondering if they’ll do deliveries at both or try to funnel through one until the teams are all ramped up.

Congrats All Y'all (sorry, but couldn't resist!). Have you completed your financing and other steps? I did the registration, no trade in (since offer was 1/2 blue book), and finished the financing just now. It was good financing at 6.59%, but they changed the down from $8k to $18K on the final offer. Of course, you don't have a chance to ask anyone why the down payment changed and they make it sound like more wait time before delivery if you don't accept their offer as is.

Less than an hour after I posted this message I received my VIN (#0964).

I accepted my loan through what Tesla offered. Asked them if I found a better rate and terms with my credit union can I change it before my delivery and they said definitely.

Are they giving lots of choices for the delivery day? I go out of town a lot and I’m pretty sure they will contact me when I’m not home haha

Ok cool. I just went ahead and accepted my financing offer as well even though I’m planning on going through my local FC that should be a better rate. But if this is going to speed up my delivery, I’ll go ahead and accept for now

For those with VINs and using Tesla finance. Are they allowing you to pick a down payment amount or is it predetermined for you? I have never gone through the Tesla finance process and won’t be trading a vehicle in with this purchase. I know the down payment amount will vary by lender but it would be nice to have a ballpark of what to expect.
