Florida delivery address. My theory is that I got into an early batch because I lived in LA in 2019 when I did the reservation. I set my delivery address to Florida, though. The Tesla rep said that it's usually 2-3 weeks from production complete, so hopefully I'll get it next week or the week after.

The Tesla rep said that it's usually 2-3 weeks from production complete, so hopefully I'll get it next week or the week after.

This is quite surprising to read considering the number of people who were adamant that when the vin is assigned, it's already on a transport. As well as the people who asserted that you have maybe 4 days from when vin is assigned to pick up the truck before it will be given to the next person in line.

Also makes me a little nervous, since my trade in value was just the right number that I'd not bother with a private sale, and 2-3 weeks means if I don't have a vin by monday, I'll likely lose that trade in offer and be given a lower one by the time the truck arrives.

All I have seen is the words assigned transportation. Much different than being on transport.

These transport trucks don't zig zag across the country dropping one at a time. They are batched. That is why they disappear as soon as produced. They have the transportation and everything ready to go.

well this would be more in line with 3-4 days than 2-3 weeks. which is all that I'm pointing out. Either the people asserting timeline from vin to delivery have no clue what they are talking about, or the people you can reach by phone at tesla have no clue what they are talking about. But they can't both be right.

Again assigned transport. You added your own qualifiers of time. Once a VIN has been assigned to you as a customer. Transportation has been assigned. Just telling you how Tesla does it.

It hasn't been 2-3 weks for the Cybertruck, it's been 1-2 days. And that includes getting the trucks from Texas to California. If the VIN has been issued, that is extremely suggestive that the truck is on the car carrier and enroute to you.

That is also suggestive that other Floridians are getting theirs's as well.

But if it got assigned to you as a Californian, yours may be headed in the wrong direction.

Let's hope the Florida has been opened up, but I'd really be surprised since I don't think I've seen Texans getting theirs.
