I guess one question was answered, it seems only FS trucks are to be delivered in 2024. They haven't opened non-FS orders and they said that nearly all 2024 production has been reserved. Unless this is a trick to get more people to convert FS orders (which TBH, is very possible), on face value all 2024 production is FS.

I'm guessing that means non-FS orders open near the end of 2024, with delivery starting sometime in 2025.

So I wonder how many FS they will make. We know there have been >1000 ordered. If they are almost sold out, then that would mean maybe 1500? If so, that is piss-poor production. There's no way there have been >10,000 ordered. If they only produced 50 CT per week, that would be 2,600 for the year. Talk about complete failure.....

Non FS is probably another 12-15 months away. Elon said many times they need 15-18 months to ramp up and CT won't be material to Tesla. This means for 18 months, they'll sale so little it won't even make a dent on their bottom line. It'll be bundled in as "others" with S and X.

Go buy a F150, problem solved and you don't have to be so angry.
I'm pretty tired of these statements tbh.
Most of us passed on day 1 lightning and rivian trucks because of the promises statements made by tesla.
It's too late to bail. We already fell for it. Now if we bail we pay the same over inflated price and get a tiny truck or an old school truck

Seems to be in line with most new vehicle launches. 125k in annual capacity has always been a 2025 goal? That means they need to essentially make 10k CTs in December 2025 to hit that target. The 24 months before that, they will be making a sliding scale of significantly less to less.

"Run rate by Year X," all manufacturers use this metric with new vehicles and it confuses people every time.

LOL Elon "We could dramatically raise the price of the Cybertruck"
Um....Foundation Edition $20k markup.......on top of the already increased price from the initial announcement.
Yeah, and then after that he said something like, "We have to keep it [Cybertruck] affordable."

Elon's definition and my definition of "affordable" are totally different.
