So you were complaining about not getting the invite to order, and now that you have, you can't decide to place the order???
The reality of buying a $100,000 car just set in. ;)

Even if the $79,990 Cybertruck is available this year, which I don't believe it will be until the 4th quarter this year, you will be dependent on the Tesla roll of the dice for when you get the invite. There are lots of people passing right now, but once they can buy the truck for $72,490 point of sale from Tesla we will see upwards of 90% acceptance rate.

At least on this note, I am under 1000 from the top of the list, so maybe I will get the chance to get first option on the non FS when it comes available

This is not true. The 1000 FS is now proven to not be true. With your current invite, it is more likely that you are under 50,000 from the top of the list and maybe even higher. We don't know how many invites went out and the acceptance rate of a $100,000 vehicle.

We live in a world people are paying $150K over sticker for a Porsche GT3RS with no perks added except making dealerships rich .. even Ford Raptor Rs are still going $30-40K over sticker and you get nothing extra

Anyone complaining of the Foundation package is weird to me because you are getting things with the extra money and getting the truck sooner. It's a great deal imo

This is why I like Tesla. I know exactly how much money I am paying and I don't need to deal with any of the nonsense of a dealership. No haggling over price, dealership mark-ups, GAP insurance, extended warranties, dealerships installing security devices into their cars which is just added to the price to make them money, etc...

At least for the $20,000 mark-up, I am getting items that are close to $20,000 in retail. The $20,000 mark-up at the dealership gets me nothing more than putting money directly into their pockets.

I think you misunderstand my statement. When They do start offering the Non FS version, they will most likely be starting at the lower reservation #s that did not accept or were not contacted to accept the FS version. Then my reservation # would be low enough to put me under that 1000 reservation # list.
I know they are not just selling 1000 FS versions.

I would never trust Tesla to go by reservation number. Look how it worked out for you with the FS invite.

How long do you have before the invite expires?

Suggestion: go to the show room to take one more look at the vehicle then decide. Your situation is indeed a dilemma since your RN will be under 1000 from the top of non FS list ( maybe less than 1000 since someone with earlier RN may already ordered FS). I am at 100,000 from the top of the list, so it is relatively easier for me but still took me one trip to the show room and 3 more days to decide.

But another uncertainty is we don't know yet how long this FS invitation will be continuely send out, is it possible to go through another 100,000 RN batch after first 24 hour? tbh, even following 100,000 RN still are considered a " early reservation" compared current 2.3m+ reservation on file. What about another 100,000 after that? This is another reason i decided to jump in.

My 2 cents, hope can do you some help.

Exactly !!! That's why I love Tesla as well.

Imagine if this was a Lamborghini Cybertruck. It would have a $300K MSRP and dealers would be charging $400-450K and you'd get nothing for that extra $100-150K markup.

Thanks for the advice.
I did stop in Houston when I was out there last week and saw 5 in the customer delivery area.
Was so excited. I think I talked the ear off the sales person.
This is one of the reasons I am on the fence now.
Been going all over the web to find cheapest finance rates.
Best so far was 5% Navy Fed. I have an excellent credit score,
Any suggestions?
Any one?
