Hello everyone,

I received a call from my local Tesla Delivery center, "Miami Gardens," saying that my Cybertruck had an "alignment issue" and that my delivery had to be postponed. It was scheduled for 02/27/2024. This is a real bummer! As you can imagine, I had already shared the great news with friends and family, and everyone was excited to see it.

Unfortunately, that was all the information I received. It was explained that there was an issue with the alignment and that the car pulled to the left. I was told very few technicians were trained on this vehicle, and one would be dispatched next week. They were unsure when they would be available or if any parts would need to be ordered once diagnosed.

Please let me know if anyone else has seen this same issue come up pre-delivery. I've read about a few longer-term problems related to tire wear due to ride height adjustability.

Thanks!

certainly haven't heard about it here or on reddit. fingers crossed it's a simple alignment issue and they just need to get the specs uploaded to their alignment rack--and hopefully get someone competent to align it.

Interesting. Could be old fashion hardware alignment, a steering sensor / motor position issue, god forbid a warped casting too far off for a hardware alignment to compensate for.

There was a YouTuber that talked about an initial alignment issue he had where it pulled to the left but he said after about 30 minutes of driving it somehow fixed itself.

Tough to be so close and then have it pushed back, have not heard any significant reports of alignment other than a couple people have said the steering felt weird for the first 50 miles or so and then somehow settled in. Not sure if that is the car adjusting or people adjusting to the car.

my cybertruck was similar. it was pulling pretty hard to the right initially, then fixed itself after 30 minutes of driving.
weird that it fixed itself

I'm so sorry to hear that! Our delivery was also postponed. We were scheduled for yesterday, 2/24 @ 10 am, but we got a call the day before (2/23) saying it is postponed a week due to a "containment hold." They weren't able to tell us exactly what the problem was, only that it needed a software update. We asked if we could take delivery and just do the software update like normal with our other Teslas and they said no, the software had to be installed at the service center. We were wondering if anyone else had this issue. If it is a software issue, you'd think all deliveries would be postponed.

We are super bummed, too! We sold our Model Y anticipating we would be getting our truck and have one car for the time being. Also, just overall bummed out.

Let us know if you hear more about what the issue is and when you might be rescheduled! We are waiting for a call back to explain more about what the issue is.

This was posted by Cyber526 today “My Cybertruck arrived at Miami Garden, but no delivery yet... needs a week-long inspection
The issue is not related but attests that the CTs are being checked pretty well ( Hopefully).

Ok, same or similar issue for mine. I was to take delivery yesterday February 24th at 4pm. Got a call about 930 am that "the vehicle has an out of spec" alert and that my delivery must be postponed for 2 weeks! So bummed. I haven't been able to get any details what the issue is.

Until reading this forum with others having same or similar issue it seems likely a software related issue to me. I am now wondering if all new trucks are on hold for delivery.

Hopefully this will just be a brief delay and definitely not 2 weeks!

Delivery to be at St Petersburg FL.
