Anyone pick up a CT in NJ as of yet?

Congrats to all of you with impending orders!

Will be great to see some Cybertrucks on NJ roads sooner rather than later. If it's another 6-8 weeks good chance you won't have to figure out how our heavily salted roadways impact the stainless steel finish until next winter - and hopefully, by then we'll have more clarity on protective products other than wraps.

I know that you are anxious, but you may want to save some energy. It's going to be at least a month, and probably more for you. I believe that you may have seen a Jan-Apr delivery window. I believe that it was the week before that it was Jan-Mar.

I hate to rain on your parade, but you do need to breathe a little bit.

After placing the order, the only thing that you will probably see is the PowerShare email. And then the next message that you see will probably be that your vehicle is ready for pickup.

Just make sure that you have all the items completed, that allow you to, on the app.

I reserved on the first night and placed order on 12/22 for a Foundation CT Beast. I live in Northern NJ and my pickup location is set to Paramus. My reservation is RN11277XXXX with delivery set for late 2024. No VIN assigned as of yet. I was in Parmaus dealership a few weeks ago but CT wasnt there yet, hoping to stop by this week to see it in person. Would love to know where I stand in the order of things!

Can you NJ guys check your Tesla Location under Registration in the app? I’m buying in NJ and it used to say Paramus which is very close to me but at some point recently it just changed to the Brooklyn, NY location and I’m curious if all you got the same update. I’m wondering if they’re having all the east NJ and NY cybertrucks being delivered by rail or something together to that location.

Mine still says Springfield.

I wonder how many early reservations are in Jersey? I would imagine quite a few, but I don’t think many are in this forum. Or they don’t post. I have not seen the CT in person yet, since I am also in central Jersey and Paramus is a trek. Kinda want to see it in the wild as others have mentioned

I'm a Dec 2019 Pre-Order holder and nothing yet. I talked to a guy at Willowbrook Mall, and he got his invite for the foundation series. He said he pre-ordered seconds after CT was on stage, lol .

I got the invite 2 days ago and ordered yesterday. Waiting for that VIN! Being number 6 is actually a good thing if they prioritize deliveries based on number of reservations.

I received a call from Tesla Paramus yesterday. They said anyone placing orders now (unclear if that means placing reservations now or actual orders) will likely be able to take delivery by year-end 2024. Seems roughly consistent with chatter I've heard post-earning announcement yesterday - I have yet to listen to the call replay - that they expect to fill all existing reservations before the end of 2024.

That should be a lot of Cybertrucks hitting the roads of NJ in the next 11 months!

I was at the SC Paramus a couple of weeks ago and saw the Cybertruck in person, it was awesome! I was told they are expecting about 85 AWD’s and 8 Cyberbeasts and I thought he said by the end of the first quarter perhaps he meant by the end of the second quarter. Then again, Tesla does not determine where cars are shipped to probably until the last minute.

I'm still waiting on a configuration email...but I have a Dec 2019 reservation, could be a while.

Did trip out to King of Prussia Mall a week or so ago to see the CT live. Was roped off, which was annoying, so couldn't get within six feet but it's a heck of a machine to see in real life. Interior I think will end up being very familiar to current Tesla owners. I spoke to one of the Tesla reps there, they were signing everyone in on a tablet and limiting people in the shop, and he said I should expect to see my truck before year-end, but not too much before year-end. That's good enough for now.
