CT ramp speed increased? Received my VIN this morning, Jan Order

Wow. Congrats! I ordered on 01/20, delivery center will be Stockton/CA, hopefully will receive VIN next week. Anyone have same delivery center received VIN for Jan order?

This suggests what I’ve said in a different thread. The ramp and order to vin to delivery averages and estimates mean nothing to the non TX/CA states.

My order was 1/14 PA, im not at 60 days yet so we will see.

1/11 order and now expecting my VIN this week (which will prove the ramp is on) or next week which will show not much of a change. If I get my VIN after next week then things are trending in the wrong direction.
I’m 1/11 order in So. Cal with an Irvine Pick up location. Can’t be more prime than that except I have not seen many Irvine deliveries lately.
I’m ready with check in hand. At least a phone call away.

FYI: I called Tesla Support this morning for a delivery status update after receiving my VIN. They stated that delivery time windows can be between 3-4 weeks after VIN assignment. Scaling production may shift the bottlenecks to delivery. Instead of saying he didn’t know it told me I couldn’t, so I went to the screen in the CT, called him over, and showed him live TV.

Who knows if this rep is just talking out the side of their mouth. May be getting slammed with status calls.

Never believe the folks at Tesla SC. They only assume things. No different than asking an Apple employee what new features will the new phone have before the reveal. My Tesla SC Rep didn’t know that you could get You Tube TV in Tesla vehicles.

Awesome for you but a tiny bit frustrating for me. RN 1127, offered and ordered 12/28 no vin yet.

Different states different timelines his order means nothing in relation to yours.

This may be a dumb question, but why is a CA location a benefit to getting a Cybertruck delivery early? I get Texas, where they are made but CA doesn’t seem to have relevance for the Cybertruck.

CA is where Tesla was originally headquartered and have an extensive supply chain network already established, its most likely easy to get vehicles there given the Freemont factory.
