I have mixed feelings about this... I APPRECIATE all that he does for this group but to put someone ahead just because they are influential just rubs me the wrong way. If anyone were to get one because of this reason Joe DOES deserve it, but it goes to show Tesla doesn't care about the average consumer... Just my opinion. Mine is my first Tesla ever, but the way the are handling the deliveries makes me not want to do business with them

I guess that makes business sense, but seems like a lot of people just hate Tesla for doing things this way, I was impartial when I placed my order, I figured they would have good customer service, and hope they will after I get my truck, but until then, I don't plan to purchase any other Tesla products until I see how they are after the sale.

They used to not do advertising but their email, phone /texting and youtube ads have increased dramatically. Tesla emails, texts and calls me more than any other company at the moment..

Which also keeps the end price for the consumer down. Can you imagine what the cost would be if they had a marketing team like Apple?

I think we all know the difference between trying hard, and trying way too hard. I am happy the low flying helpers that help the brand get rewarded. Just sometimes the head enlarges, and they think they are bigger than what they are actually doing. In the local cases here and Joe seem to be really class act individuals.

Not sure how many actually rise to hate. Dislike maybe. Annoyed sure. There is no free truck, there is no discount provided to these individuals. My guess is the people you think hate still buy Tesla's despite they are less than satisfied with the pre-buying experience.

I think that many need to remember how ordering in demand cars is elsewhere. Non Tesla. I have been down that road. Trust me it is worse. You have to look at the guy in the eye that is robbing you.

I can see the need to give it to influencers. They have done that. But when is enough enough? They have given to top influencers, celebrities and other top people. It’s time for the common people.
I feel sad for the “Now You Know” guys. They are influencers and are very, very early reservation holders (top 100?) and they still haven’t got their truck. I’m just about done watching “first reactions” of random people of their Cybertruck but I look forward to Zack and Jessie’s videos on it.

You do realize it's the content that even a SMALL agency puts out that costs millions and millions of dollars?? I am waiting like everyone and I am not crying... patience is a virtue.

Disagree, with social media they only need a couple people. It’s not that hard.
I’m being patient too (Feb to April timeframe). I know nothing will happen until at least the end of April to early May. If it gets past the middle of May then I’ll start to get a little annoyed.

My experience over the last 6+ years with Tesla after the sale has been excellent. Really responsive and very easy to work with.

I get the frustration tho. I was just lucky enough to get a truck last week.

Please believe me that it’s very worth the wait. I'm really enjoying it! By far the most fun vehicle I’ve ever owned.

that being said, I know there are others out there who’ve had major problems right off the bat with the CT so there that too. Definitely not a perfect ride at this point!

I think Joe had an opportunity presented to him probably by someone that had a reservation and it’s being offered to Joe. He’s technically not jumping in front of anyone if that’s the case. He has an awesome YouTube channel and contributes a lot so he deserves the opportunity.

I love how Joe has given us lots of drone shots of Cybertruck production. I think it is awesome he is getting one (using his referrals possibly?). Why people get so hurt over this is mind boggling to me, but ??
