I thought he was from Colorado?
He is. And he's not the first CO YouTuber to get one. He talks bout it in his video. They used the referral points.

Maybe hes just registering in Florida to avoid State Tax. Looking forward to his ownership.

Florida has no income tax. It has sales tax, and quite reasonable multi year registration. Our S is down there. It is $211 for two years.

It looks like they used referral credits to skip to the front. It feels bad that those who are famous can cut to the front of the line because they have referral credits. There are many people who have shown more loyalty, and waited years longer, that didn't get one because of them.

I look at the review Kyle did as not a service to Tesla. Some of the initial testing was in my mind what made people question range. Now we see it in normal peoples hands range doesn't seem to be the forefront talk anymore. As his review was not normal or really interesting. Done in the dark didn't really review the truck. Just pushed it as far and said very much of quantity.

He is a click getter. Make the video either awesome or crap for cybertruck. Otherwise nothing in between drives his revenue.

He is entitled to use his points. I hope he got no other help.

He calls 'em as he sees 'em and shows no favoritism. Looking forward to his impressions.
Boy his wife, Alyssa, is so hard. Nothing but negative through the whole review. Her mind was made up a long time ago. I get the criticisms, but every time she talked was pretty much constant bitching and negative. I run from those type of people. Energy vampires . Love Kyle though! He is fair and enthusiastic

I don’t get their love for the Silverado EV. More or less unavailable, just as expensive, bigger battery and less efficiency .. and have to deal with dealers and a company that is not great at EVs… but ??

I will say that the Cybertruck needs a year or 2 of improvements and tweaks .. as is, esp being the first of their builds, it’s got some issues

Can you go get a cybertruck today? I don't get the gushing over the silverado either, but cybertruck will continue to be unobtanium for quite a long time. A new, normal person will not be getting a cybertruck for years from today. Even the special few of us who were selected for foundation, and ordered 60-90 days ago, cannot seem to get our hands on one unless we are in a chosen few states.

Ya the Chevy has sold/delivered 430ish since July. Almost none of which went to non-fleet customers. So they are less available than the CT.. Cybertruck is already there and more, so I would say it was much more available than the Silverado.. just that the demand is off the charts in comparison.. and yes, I am at least two years out from getting one. But a normal new person is gonna get a Silverado sooner because the demand isn’t nearly the same. So ??. But the funny thing is I probably will get my CT sooner than a Silverado if I ordered right now

I guess dad had 30,000 referral points and Kyle cashed them in to order the CyberBeast.

The steer by wire and RWS really differentiates the CT from every other pickup in the road. When the CT is asleep you can flop the steering wheel back and forth like a video game console wheel. Pretty wild.

I watch pretty much every video on the Out of Spec channel, they provide deep insightful and unbiased opinion. The CT videos he posted he said he was less enthused driving the AWD CT versus his R1T, but said he needs the Beast for a true comparison. Kyle has always liked performance vehicles, the AWD CT simply isn't that. I would beat a AWD CT off the line in my Lightning and the Lightning doesn't wow me with acceleration, so Kyle's criticisms are warranted. As a beast reservation holder and someone who too is underwhelmed by the AWD CT specs, I can't wait for these videos. I'm hopeful my enthusiasm goes through the roof for my incoming Beast.
Kyle is bias. He mentions time and time again he like to drive fast and really test the limits. His R1T is the quad motor version. He will be bias towards the beast because it fits his thirst for speed. Nothing else different than the AWD but his bias will shine with the beast. It already did with the pickup/road trip video.

Yea I think his only bias is for speed, I think him having a Beast will net a much better overall review from him than the AWD.
He is one of the best EV reviewers out there and I am looking forward to his tests, especially against the Rivian and Ford. I believe these upcoming tests from him will be the final verdict on the CT vs the other EV trucks, which surprisingly is somewhat of a close competition on some metrics.

Especially if you are doing U-Turn all day or are disabled. The most recent comparison from car and driver showed the Lightning having better skid pad then the Cybertruck which is impossible. Bunch of paid shills.

I guess I don't mind, because I share some of the same views.

I just couldn't imagine paying $40k more for an AWD CT that has less performance than my Lightning. If 0-60 means nothing to you, the AWD Lightning is fine. It is a spec that means a lot to me, which is why Beast > Lightning > AWD CT to me. I'd feel neutered driving around the AWD CT after going from a Lightning, I couldn't do it, I can't go backwards in performance. If someone is moving from an ICE truck to a AWD CT then it would be an easier transition.
