Wow, pretty negative tone from the get go!

I love how they complain about the sails and reaching into the bed of the truck without mentioning that when you lower the truck all the way, it's actually easier to reach into than most other trucks since most either have large wheels/tires and/or are lifted.

Wow, It's a hit piece! I hate to give them a view...it's bad. The review doesn't represent anything that I've experienced since owning it. They LITERALLY found a way to make everything negative. Wow.

I don't have the truck yet but from watching videos I certainly agree the rearview camera feed should stay up with a blinker on. A software update could allow that.

It is interesting to see the turning radius with their testing was no different than other trucks they have tested.

It seems to me steer by wire is probably the rate limiting step for having autopilot and FSD. Lane-centering and lane changing and autosteer all require knowing what the variable steering ratio is based on vehicle speed and there is no other tesla to base it on. Therefore it is a puzzling choice to sacrifice autonomous driving tech for a steer by wire system if it isn't a marked improvement compared to the conpetition.

They are correct in that I likely wont offroad much. I love how the truck looks and the tesla ecosystem and tech.

please to christ, say this more times. This is not good. To the point that I would turn off the blind spot camera function if it fixed it. You can't remove the rear view while changing lanes on the highway. How else am I supposed to know if someone is barrelling towards me way too fast and going to swerve around me? I lost my mind when I saw this happen in one of the videos I watched. I don't need to see my side view, since I have a side mirror for that.

I think a digital rearview mirror would have been an easy choice. Tesla though is like that hot but crazy college girlfriend, not quite the perfect package to meet the parents but just enough over the top amazing things to make it worth it.

This seems like one of those things they can put in an update before most people get the truck. I never thought about this until now, it's problematic, but should be a very simple fix.

Should be simple, but unfortunately they don't tell us which issues they are going to fix or when. So just assume it will be that way for a long time, if it ever changes.

And like, I expect that it will change. But you never actually know which things tesla is going to change or when.

I noticed that too about the rear view camera, and figured it would get fixed shortly. BTW, already removed the rear view mirror since I never use it.

Numerous improvements will be coming out in the next 12 months. The software still needs some tweaking.

Only Tesla can get away with charging $20k for their FS trucks when the software isn't up and running yet.

No autopilot, no FSD and no locking differentials.

I'm totally fine with having the truck now and software updates later. Gives you something to look forward to. We are all beta testers right now. Minor inconvenience for early access.

When offered an order in two years or so, I hope to be able to test drive equivalent offerings from other makers! Tesla despite your design 'wedge' (at the moment) the shine will be long gone if both software and fit n finish aren't completely fixed. Yes the MT review is a pretty justified slap in the tonneau!

I'm fine with buying it now and will wait to rent it out as a robo-taxi, in a year or so, when FSD with robo-tax capability comes out soon.

Except my, and most others, Cybertruck fit and finish has been great. Also, have you LOOKED at a Ford lately? Panel gaps everywhere! But you know, since they pay the bills, no one comments. And don't get me started on their "physical" recalls...

If you haven’t read it I can save you 5 minutes of your life you’ll never get back. Correct me if I’m wrong but it sounds like they’re upset because the Cybertruck is not shaped like a traditional truck and the problem that subjectivity creates for him.
