My truck which I ordered on 12/21 and received the VIN on 3/13 was delivered today. They Also delivered another gentleman’s truck at the same time at the Las Vegas East Sahara location.

But personal note I just know they are going to call my VIN the day I fly away to go help family and maybe, just maybe, get a little time off.

Last time I tried to get away after years and years of no time off and hospital visiting, we drove 7 hours through a snow storm, ended up pushing a truck by hand the last stretch (wish it was CT we would have been grinning the entire time with frozen fingers), and the second we walked through the door they called to tell me my mom was dying!!! Had to trudge through more miles of snow, hitch a ride with the nicest lady on the planet, to make it to a place where we could get transportation to the airport. (Sorry TMI)

We made it time but now this! That was last month!
Jeez! We can’t catch a break for nothing!

I just know they will call the second we land where my 3/4 deaf mother-in-law is driving an hour to pick us up, to go help her nearly blind husband. You can’t make this stuff up!

Does anyone know how long after a VIN is issued and they schedule a delivery that they will hold the vehicle?

Yeah I know… others haven’t even gotten the chance to order… Here I am waiting for a VIN. And hoping they may save the vehicle… Sorry for whining… But it would really be nice to get a WIN this year instead of being the guy on the Price Is Right who lost the Multi-car Showcase pecial by 1 cent and had to walk out to the sad music.

OK enough with the sadness…

So it took about 80ish days from order to VIN, then another week for delivery?

Did they text you when you received a VIN, or did you just check the app? Also when you received a VIN where they helpful at all on the location of the vehicle and scheduling delivery? And was there any flexibility on that delivery date on your end vs Tesla?

looks like it’s going to be a minute for us mid-January orders.

looks like it’s going to be a minute for us mid-January orders.

VIN just showed up in my app. No call or anything. Got the VIN on Wednesday car arrived Saturday and picked up Tuesday.

I took delivery of mine too, right after you. They delivered 4 yesterday.

I went to East Sahara a couple days ago just to have them check my reservation, they said I should be hearing from them soon. I am 1/17/24 AWD order.

Not sure if they were just giving out generic information, but they couldn’t tell me how many they have delivered nor tell me if they are in the December or January batch orders being delivered. (Also from what I understand, orders from southern Utah take deliveries there)

Really tempted to just taking delivery in CA, but don’t want to double up taxes and registration fees and deal with the DMV. I spoke with an advisor in SoCal, if I take delivery in CA it has to be registered in CA when I take delivery as well as insurance.

They would not issue a “one way moving permit” like they did for my MYP when I picked up in SoCal for the Cybertruck deliveries.
