Changes to Motor Vehicle Purchase Agreement

When I placed my configuration order on 01/11/2024, it listed on the Vehicle Configuration Description: Lifetime Premium Connectivity

Received my VIN # on 4/19/2024, the new Purchase Agreement no longer has Lifetime Premium Connectivity. Now has Standard Connectivity for 8 years.

Is Tesla allowed to change the Purchase Agreement after paying the $1000 for early access deposit?
Has your Purchase and Sales Agreement changed too for new deliveries?

I have been trying to get a firm answer as to when I can pick up my truck that was ready on the 12th in Kansas City. You would think I was offering insults to their mother for asking basic questions about a truck I paid 100k for. If this is how they are going to treat me at the beginning... not sure I want to be here at all. This is sad, because this truck has been one of the most exciting purchases I have made as an adult.

Let us know any updates. I stopped by my SC today and they said they are NO LONGER doing rivets. They are waiting on new pedals from Tesla. No ETA, and are expecting only 2-5 pedals even though they have 8 trucks waiting to be delivered. I never thought I would have hatred for Tesla. Never! Owner of Solar Roof and 7 Teslas, long term shareholder.

My MVPA never said anything about Premium Connectivity, it was always bundled in the "Foundation Series" line item that includes it.

I just had to have a hissy fit because I cant get anyone to tell me when I can pick up the darn truck. I am so disappointed with this experience. Good luck. I have been told that a supervisor will be in touch with me in an hour. I am NOT holding my breath.

Standard Connectivity is included in your Vehicle, at no additional cost, for eight (8) years beginning on the first day your Vehicle was delivered as new by Tesla, or the first day it is put into service (for example used as a demonstrator or company vehicle), whichever comes first. A trial of Premium Connectivity will be included following delivery of the Vehicle. Once this trial is over as detailed at www.tesla.com/support/connectivity, you may subscribe to Premium Connectivity or your Vehicle will return to Standard Connectivity. Features included in Premium Connectivity are subject to change and may be limited or unavailable due to Obsolete Hardware. That is generic copy. Look at the MVPA they are using, says 2022, predates the CT release. Though odd it does have the no resale bit so who knows. I would confirm, but doubt it is an issue.

So the Tesla website still lists Lifetime Premium Connectivity under Manage Order, as does the app under Vehicle Details; for my order. I have a VIN. Waiting on a Delivery date.

It says Standard Connectivity is 8 years, gives no time estimate for Premium on that document
