Yes I would do it again. But if the truck was totaled today, I'd probably pick up a cheap beater for a few weeks and wait a price drop or special deal. I got mine pretty early on and the hype was crazy, talked to a stranger every trip I made with the truck. Now that the hype is gone and its a normal truck I'd like to think I could wait for the price to come down a little.
But in reality I would probably be at Tesla getting the first one they have available. This time with gray interior. Whites cool but Gray just looks perfect.

edit: forgot to mention, Cyberbeast all the way. So much fun!

The AWD has plastic interior correct? My Beast has premium suede interior which looks and feels really nice. To me that extra feel of premium materials along with the tri-motor being absolutely wicked blows the AWD CT out of the water. I had a non-FS CT AWD on order that got delayed and ended up with a FS Beast. The white interior in person vs the tactical gray in person is a larger step up than what one may think until they drive it on the daily.

I do feel like the Beast is a $100k+ truck comparative to other $100k+ trucks I’ve owned, but the AWD CT does feel less special and to me should be a $60k-$70k truck. Not sure $20k should be the difference in price, but it’s probably fair.

All that said.. I’m selling my Beast. No rush, but when it’s gone it will be gone. I got an opportunity for a 2025 Raptor R at MSRP and had to do it. A couple of items on the Beast that I really wish could be addressed for the next time I buy one:

1. EOM rear view mirror camera or a brand new solution to the existing camera(maybe an upgrade?) that provides less noise at night.

2. Needs a camera washer on the rear. It’s weird they only put one on the front.

3. I know it’s likely not ever gonna happen but I’d really like a Heads Up Display. Tesla could do a lot of fun and quirky things with it.

4. They need a fully steel boxed in frame.

5. Hopefully range in the battery cells will be improved. I drove from Colorado to Wisconsin with the Beast, no issues, but there were a couple of stretches where I ran down to 1%(because I don’t have range anxiety) but I wish I didn’t have to and that it just could have gone that extra distance to a better stop or faster charger in the area.

6. The Beast needs a sports package like the Plaid got. The off road mode was a great start, but let’s get this truck pushing around a track cuz to me that would be fun as heck. YMMV.

7. The truck bed auto opens. It needs to auto close.

8. FSD will likely have massive improvements and hopefully be closer to my last Tesla Model S I had for years before the CT. I sort of stopped using FSD after the last update.. I don’t feel like I can depend on it like I have been able to with my Model S.
The ability to turn off rear steer in tow mode. It turns a little too tight. Real easy to put the edge of the bed into your box trailer or camper.

For folks who have owned a Foundation Series Cyber Beast for >6 months: if your truck was totaled (and you wanted to replace it with another CT) which build options would you go with this time around? Core wheels? Grey interior? AWD?
I’ve had a beast since May. Absolutely would do it again.

I've had my FS CyberBeast for 6+ months and am in love with it. I would 100% buy it again. I don't use it as a 'work' vehicle but often use the bed for personal items. Driving it is a dream. The ride is incredible, comfortable, and steer-by-wire is a game changer. It makes maneuvering a dream.

The Powershare install was flawless and fully covered and has already shown to work seamlessly. We had our power go out for a few minutes recently (no idea why) when we were at home and didn't even realize it kicked on until I noticed in the app .

I have yet to receive the light bar and wheel covers, but looking forward to when I do.

I have the white trim, had it wrapped satin black with gloss black accents (foundation series and cyberbeast logos), tinted, and it looks amazing. I live in FL and still get asked about it ALL the time. We've taken it on the beach and outshined other trucks who got stuck. Before we received it my wife was not a fan; however, now she drives it more than her car (2023 Model S Plaid). Cheers!

I wouldn’t go that far yet, but it is much better now. I still have to give the tour and let people get their pictures every now and then. Still get the occasional middle finger, but it’s becoming increasingly rare.

Completely agree, it’s the perfect vehicle, and best driving one I’ve ever driven. I just don’t drive my other cars anymore either.

There’s an AMG GT parked right next to it in my garage, and it is being seriously neglected.

For me, the steer by wire has ruined all other vehicles .
I will volunteer to drive your AMG GT just so it doesn't go stale in the garage. You're welcome.

I have a plaid and a beast, don’t think I could have a garage without them. The Tesla drivetrain is second to none, hugs turns and just so much Torque. hope to always have this truck or a newer version of it it in the future.

It's a truck. TRUCK. Not a race car

Buy a Plaid. It's loud. Dirty if used as a truck. It replaced my F350 diesel. I'm not complaining. I have a S for luxury.

I dont blame you, I sold all my other cars because they just sat there looking pretty. I drive the truck 100% of the time now. I think its the steer by wire that ruined other cars for me as well. I also never worry about the paint and if someone parks on the line I still squeeze in and say in my head or to my wife "good luck not ruining your paint getting back in"

What a nonsense. $20K more to go 1.3 seconds faster? You look stupid doing that at every traffic light anyway.
Hey now, nobody launches from every traffic light. That is ridiculous. The tires would be bald by the time you hit 500 miles. Come on, now, lol. At nearly 7000 lbs of truck weight, the things still spins the tires at launch. Its insane and the most fun ever. You have supercars costing millions that cant do it, so I would say it is worth it, depending on what you want and what you can afford. If you do not value the things this truck can do over 99.9% of other vehicles, then go by an ice vehicle and be happy pumping gas.

I went to use my wife's Grand Cherokee, which I used to think was hot, and pulled out of our driveway and drove it right into the ditch across the street as I forgot it was going to take 27 steering wheel turns to make a 90 degree turn...I am now banned from driving our other vehicles, its the Beast or nothing.

I have the exact same problem…?…!! I first encountered that in my AMG going to work (after driving the truck exclusively for a week or two). It was on a turn that I’ve literally taken a thousand times. I started the turn as normal, but I literally began to drift into the next lane (lucky it was a divided four lane), I really had to work the wheel over hard to recover it! That really freaked me out/woke me up to the difference. I then did it again in our electric carryall golf cart (I used to think that was nimble). I’m super aware now. Transitioning from old school direct mechanical steering to steer by wire was really quick… but going back…it actually hurts my brain. I don’t like it. I feel like I’m being asked to run an old wagon mule team!
