I'm not answering your question but I'm putting my 2 cents. I'm buying a CT too but I've been waiting for the $7500 credit. Now that the $7500 is here, my other concern is i believe what I'll get is 2024 instead of 2025 model. Until I read that all the 2024 models are sold, I'll keep holding out. Someone said the 2024 and 2025 are the same but I'm having difficulty believing it. There's got to be an improvement.
I want a 2025 as well.

I got my beast with the all seasons and love it! I used my $2500 shop voucher on the winter tire package ($3000) and got another set of rims with aggressive winter tires on it now. A little noisier and less range, but feel way more comfortable bad weather with these. They look great on here too. Will switch back in the spring. Best of both worlds.
The $3,000 package is nice. Doesn't mention the aero wheel covers but maybe not needed.

Also for tires, given this beast is my seventh 4x4 truck, well over 1 million miles cumulative, tires are expensive but make sure you buy light truck tires (LT). Most trucks come with passenger car tires on them stock which wear out after 30 miles or so. I have good experience with BF Goodrich T/As, summer/winter doesn't matter. NEVER buy Cooper tires. Truck #6 a Tundra had Coopers on them with only 40k miles on them, when one self destructed after a 3 hour all highway trip, no pothole, and I didn't run over anything, see picture...........

yes! learned this from my 1969 Land Rover, always a Light duty truck tires! car tires don't work! crazy picture

The truck is a beast. You will not be disappointed!

WHEELS: These are Falken AT/4W tires on Martian CyberRover wheels. There is a range decrease, but worth it in the winter. For roadtrips, I would likely recommend the AS tires.

SCREEN: I've never noticed any screen flex on mine.

LEAKING: My tonneau leaks a bit, but nothing major. I've taken it through a couple dozen car washes. Only issue there is with the AT tires and aero covers, the covers on the left of the truck can catch on the tracks leading into the car wash.

Does not come with the aero covers, but they can be taken off of the AS tires and put on these rims just the same. I do not use them though. I like to look without them for winter time driving.

When I recently removed my aero covers (the new, redesigned version) from the stock wheels, after having them on for about a month, I noticed they permanently wear away the finish. So if you like the look of aero covers, I would recommend always leave them on. Otherwise never put them on in the first place.

How much range are you loosing compared to the stock 20s?

Also are those the 18 inch wheels? They mention “PLEASE NOTE: To install 18" wheels, the nubbin on the front knuckles will need to be removed. There is no downside to doing this.”

Do you have a photo of what they’re referring to?

Yes, they are 18" wheels. No rubbing with these tires. The little aluminum piece on the left is held on by two small screws. It can be safely removed for 18" wheels, in which case the aluminum piece that remains sticking out serves the same purpose. You only have to remove two of these at the front of the truck.

I'm not driving long distances in the winter with the CT, so it would be tough to say. They are definitely heavier tires and wheels. I can weigh my spare to let you know, but it's a lot of extra weight. I'd guesstimate a 5-10% hit on range.

Ok thanks for your help!

Is there a reason you went with the Falkens vs BF Goodrich or any other AT tire?

Also, after swapping out the default Goodyear A/T tires for the Falkens twice now (I took the Goodyears on a 2600 mile roadtrip down south and back in December), I noticed the Falkens are ever so slightly smaller in diameter. Not much, just a bit smaller. There is no rubbing whatsoever. PS: I initially tried in non-beadlock mode, but switched to beadlock because I didn't like the look with the strange gap:

Jumping in to answer your questions...but I'm mostly just echoing everyone else's comments. Hope this still helps. :)

For context, I took delivery of mine on Dec 10 (52xxx VIN, built in November) with all season tires / core wheels.

  1. AT vs AS Tires: I test drove the CT with AT tires. I was surprised that it was quiet. I went with the all seasons bc of the increased range and didn't want to pay an extra $3k for the AT tires. Been super happy with the AS tires.
  2. Screen flex: I noticed this on the demo vehicle (it was an earlier Foundation Series build). On mine, there's still some flex compare to my previous Tesla (2020 Model Y) and my wife's 2024 Model 3 but it's not noticeable at all. In fact, I'd say there's less flex in the scren compared to the demo truck.
  3. The Bed: mine has been water resistant. I've taken it through an automatic car wash twice and driven in the rain (albeit light to mid rain) and have either had zero drops of water in the bed or just a few drops (all at the front of the bed by the rear window).
    1. I've neer owned a pickup truck before but recently was talking to someone who has a F150 Raptor and he told me he bought one of the high end bed covers and it still leaks like crazy (puddles of water in the bed) so he was super happy to hear the CT only gets a few drops in it.
  4. What to look out for during delivery:
    1. If you see "rust" on the stainless steel panels, know that it's not rust. What it is is iron oxidation on the stainless steel. Iron particles get on it during train / rail transport. To get rid of it, use a de-iron solution (Chemical Guys, DIY Detail, etc. all sell these).
    2. Check the rear interior cabin liners around the door frame. A lot of CTs (mine included) have 2-4 little cuts in it. My delivery manager told me it's because the factory puts the wheel covers in the back seat for shipment and they cut into the soft material. Just note it and schedule a service appointment to have it replaced (Tesla says to do this within 100 miles or 48 hours after delivery).
There is one thing to be aware of (if you live in an area that snows): the wiper does not work well when there's salt grime on the road. The wiper will just smear the salt across the windshield. I'm sure Tesla will redesign / fix it in the future.

All that said, this is THE best vehicle I've ever owned. It truly is magical.
for 4. 2. what are the interior cabin liners? do you mean door pocket inserts? floor mats?

Complementing the team, just sharing what I know:

Did Tesla fix the waterproofing of the bed?
there were some excessive water in bed issues, but now seems resolved, had to do with the type of weather stripping under the front top cap, they now use solid rubber and the only water now is extreme, standing on the tonneau cover with a hose pointing, at each corner, again no PU truck bed with a tonneau cover is perfectly dry, as stated with mold, we wouldnt want that, bed needs to breathe

Did Tesla address, the spongy soft feeling of the center screen because my other Teslas don't have that play when you press on them.
I did not notice as you really dont push hard, but if it is truly flexing, they will probably revise, remember you can put the tempered glass protection from someone like Spigen on.
I have never heard of cracking.

What do you guys think about the aggressive thread pattern of the off-road tires versus the all season tires, I tested / drove the off-road ones, but I heard that the all season are softer on the road and more comfortable and less loud. is that true?
I have two sets of tires, daily driving and road trips, using AS
Off roading, dune running using AT, BFG KM3 or KO3
The ATs are for all terrain like titled, don't drive 1000 miles with them, use AS
if you don't off road, no need for AT

Has anyone managed to move their free supercharging from a previous car to the cyber?
Only heard FSD moves, never SCng

What other things should I be aware of before taking delivery of my car? I'm aiming to get it by the end of the quarter which is the end of March.
No one is talking about the crazy public, be on guard, weirdos are out there, I keep a bat in the vehicle, the anti Tesla rage is real, the anti EV rage is real
protect yourself

Btw, Im on X stating we need six regional USA Cybertruck clubs to band together and educate the hate, be proud to own a Tesla and proud to own a Cybertruck

Tesla is most USA owned, manufactured and parts vehicle company right now
not Ford, not GM and definitely not Stellantis/Jeep/Ram
the uninformed are buying Volvos thinking they are Swedish, they're Geely/China owned
