So you make them aware of a blindspot that exists on every single modern vehicle?Something to be aware of. Personally, the blind spot at the A Pilar is something I have to be mindful of.
Anytime I let someone drive I make them aware of the blind spot.
I am convinced they do this to launder money. Also, and you might know this as well, the amount the renter paid (he showed me in his app) and the amount my app said he paid to rent the truck were completely different. That gave me the creeps about ethics at Turo so I felt I did the right thing pulling the truck off of Turo.
After driving HMMWVs and other mil transports, I definitely have an appreciation for blind spots haha. I think most people are just too lazy to move their bodies to clear corners. They have this idea that they should be able to remain completely static in their seats.I swear my Chrysler Pacifica A pillars were worse to see around than any other vehicle I've had (including the CB). The angle of view blocked exactly where pedestrian corner crossings were. I'd crane my head in extreme angles to make sure there wasn't a walker, bike, or etc in that blind spot. There was even a little triangle window which did nothing to help. It just became second nature.
I'm assuming most modern mini-vans are similar. And there's no shortage of those on the road.
