How do my Cybertruck friends do tire rotation? My local Mavis Tires & Brakes said my 8,300 pound Cybertruck was too close to the limit of their 10,000 pound lift.

I have run into the same thing here in the Springs, I even had a grease monkey location tell me that I couldn't even get air in the tires because the manager hated Tesla.......

I bought 4 floor jacks rated at 6tons for @140.00 off amazon, used my floor jack from Harbor Freight from years ago.

Did the tire rotation myself, took an hour and I got to clean out my wheel wells really good.

Don't pay for some of the basic things, learn your truck and do it yourself.

Appreciate the reply. Mavis doesn’t charge for rotating the tires, and at 70 years of age, I’d rather not get hurt doing it myself. I rebuilt my 1972 Ford Pinto decades ago, and used to service all my cars myself years ago, but now …

My beast weighs 6,898 pounds. Whatcha got in there that weighs over 1,100 pounds?
On a more serious note, what's the big deal with rotating tires? Mine rotate every time I drive. Okay, NOW, a more serious note. I can't remember a single time other than my 1965 Mustang back in the late 80's where I rotated my tires. I keep my cars aligned so the tires wear evenly inside to outside and the back is never more worn than the fronts.

My beast is just over 12,000 miles. I'll go out and use my depth gauge and see if there's a different. This IS my first Cybertruck afterall.

Lets us know the outcome? In touring my local tesla service center I saw their alignment equipment. So they definitely do them there. It is nice to have a service center so close. While it may be a little extra to get things done there, I still believe it is worth the costs of their expertise.

If you’re not wanting to do it yourself, discount tire will do it or a Tesla SC of course. Discount tire is probably cheaper and quicker and they tend to do a good job. They do, in general, actually crack open a service manual and look up where the lift points are and check the torque specs and all that good stuff. Personally I do it myself for peace of mind, money savings and just because I like working on my own stuff, but as I get older I’m starting to understand that someday it’ll no longer be worth it lol

Tesla is $65 mobile service at home or work. And they usually will do other checks for you too. Mine also saw the little plastic under the wiper had a crack in it and told me to make a appointment to get it fixed under warranty.

I just had mine done at the Tesla service center for $56.00.
I thought about that but it’s a month wait for tesla in my area nowadays. Plus discount rotated & balanced in 15 mins as a “walk in” with no appt. Tesla would have had it like most of the day. Comes down to how fast you want it & if you can wait. I basically only go to Tesla for things covered under warranty etc

This is why I used the service center, too. Was $65 for the tire rotation, but I also asked them to clean the glass in front of the front camera as I was getting FSD haziness complaints. The previous time I had it in (windshield replacement due to tree branch falling on it in a windstorm), they also added 'tonneau cover rework' without me asking.

Harbor Freight sells a jack called the badlands. It's bad ass. And it lifts the Cybertruck no issue at all. I do a 5 tire rotation with this jack every 4500 - 5k miles. Happy with my wear so far.

I hear you but I’m not fooling with those giant tires & getting all that dust on me. I’m good…plus they balance them when you take it to a shop as well

Do you have Costco or Sam's Club?

Discount tires/America's tires: road & hazard package for around ~$300 and they rotate and more important "balance" for free. I've heard people got rotation only also for free without buying anything.

Costco is ~$25 balance & rotation for each time.

Sam's Club: 1 time balance & rotation for around $20 I think but they also have lifetime service for a little more.
