Next week I'm giving myself a colonoscopy
I mean, I do the first, not exactly hard, sure as hell wouldn't pay someone to do that.

Don't need to do the second, I brush regularly.

My assistant puts on my pants one leg a time, just like everybody else 🤷‍♂️

Just hit 10K miles on my Cybertruck and discovered something wild: Regular tire shops WON'T touch CT tire rotations. Costco? No. Firestone? Nope. PepBoys? Also refusing.Tesla's solution? They'll do it for $295. Yes, you read that right—nearly $300 for a basic tire rotation that typically costs $20-50 elsewhere.
It's pointing to a bigger challenge for CT owners: specialized service requirements that limit our options and drive up maintenance costs.

🤔 Question for CT owners: Have you found alternative solutions? Local shops willing to work on the truck?

If you're considering a CT purchase, factor this in: Standard maintenance might not be so standard. Basic services could require Tesla service center visits at premium prices.

Thanks!
Costco won't work on tires purchased elsewhere. When you buy them from Costco, free lifetime rotation is included. (and rebalancing if needed.)

“I” paid 65$ at Tesla Saturday morning. Not a worry. I felt safe they know what they are doing!

There is a colonoscopy and 'Real Men™ should already have a borescope' joke somewhere. 🤔

They do now in SoCal. I got balance & rotation in April after 1K miles for $20 or so. They don't have lifetime offer, Sams Club does. I bought Discount Tires/America Tires after that and not worry about spending money at Costco, and they replaced 1 tire already: worth it.

America's Tire (Discount Tire) also will do it. I got the insurance on my 4 tires when I first got the truck and they will do it at no cost.

No, most men do not have these things.

I do, but most men do not.

I wouldn't use an impact driver on lugs, though. Too easy to cross thread them.

Anyone who can say the last two lines above should never perform any car maintenance themselves..."...impact driver...cross thread..."

$65 here as well, getting it done next week at home - 4k miles, just want to avoid any issues.
