15146Sorry to see some of you are dealing with this.
Could you all post your VINs? Think that’d be helpful to see if it’s only with certain ones where this is an issue.
My friend in south NH just had it happen, his is vin 6000s, his is the earliest vin I have seen it on so farHave the same problem. Taking it in to the SC on Feb 19th to have it fixed. Live in SE Michigan.
VIN Number: 035529
Sorry, I am taking it in on Mar 19th and they have parts on order. I assume that they will replace the trim piece. Are they just glued back or they replaced the trim?
Any heat gun use that might damage the panel bonding would probably melt the vinyl first, not to mention making too hot to handle. Plus we've seen unwrapped panels coming off.Of concern is vinyl wrapping and the use of 'Heat Guns'...so there is a wide spectrum of heat guns...all of which can strip paint right off a normal car, metal rubber and delaminate all kinds of things on your car when applied with a lack of skill.
Now that is definitely a factory problem. I'm going to geek out here. For anyone having this issue as a temporary fix until you get to service use this. Put pressure on it for a few hours to help it set.

Mine is starting in that exact same spot.Checked my truck (44k VIN) after watching that video yesterday. Noticed a small section on the rear driver's side quarter panel has stainless/glue separation.

Not going to worry about it for now. Still have 3+ years of bumper-to-bumper warranty. I'll just wait for more separations to occur (if any) before opening a service ticket. Also, I'd rather have a future [ie better] fix than a current build replacement panel that will likely have the same issue.
If I notice sail panel separation, that's a different story. I'd put in a request for that right away.
