in the Tesla app for the lease calculator, I can't change the estimated down of $7500 because the minimum "amount due at signing" box says $3,270.21 - did you contact support or your sales advisor to adjust the down to $0 after you submitted the lease application? Or should I contact them now before submitting the lease application, thanks.now i'm wondering if i was overcharged.
I traded in a lightning for about $35k and leased, they stilled charged $12xx in sales tax but said that was after counting in the trade in so only the remaining amount (not sure if tax on total or just the depreciation)
I wonder if I was supposed to have that waived.
so depends how you discuss money down....the 3270.21 probably is $0 down for you....no matter what you do you will owe at least sales tax, first months payment and maybe some fees.in the Tesla app for the lease calculator, I can't change the estimated down of $7500 because the minimum "amount due at signing" box says $3,270.21 - did you contact support or your sales advisor to adjust the down to $0 after you submitted the lease application? Looks like it says my down payment is $7500 and when the EV incentive is credited then my down is “$0” is what they said - they can’t lower the cash down any lower than $7500 - so the $3270 is essentially the taxes, fees, first month pay and etc.so depends how you discuss money down....the 3270.21 probably is $0 down for you....no matter what you do you will owe at least sales tax, first months payment and maybe some fees.
for me $0 down ended up at around $3000 first payment (included first month payment)
didn't matter what I put on the lease calculator, you redo it when you schedule pickup and you may even need to call to have them change it to $0 down (or chat)
Correct, mine was like that too, you can’t get the $7500 lease incentive credited to you.Looks like it says my down payment is $7500 and when the EV incentive is credited then my down is “$0” is what they said - they can’t lower the cash down any lower than $7500 - so the $3270 is essentially the taxes, fees, first month pay and etc.
