Posting just to balance out some of the negative I read on Tesla forums.

Happy Saturday everyone.
[/QUOTE]
Agreed - Happily enjoying Cybertruck is the optimal state of being, especially when around people who are curious and excited about it too, like us. I live about 30 miles North of Seattle, and there is a fair amount of irrational, obnoxious, public rejection of my experience, even when I don’t ask for others’ opinion. Almost every day I get flipped off, yelled at, or aggressively driven at. One time someone keyed my Cybertruck in a parking lot. My enjoyment of this amazing vehicle (God bless Tesla and Elon Musk) is not for political or social-forming reasons. It’s just plain the best vehicle I’ve ever driven… and they keep making it better! We, Cybertruck owners, need to stick together, now more than ever. If we can support each other, we’ll get through this insanity, maybe a little stronger and taller together.

I got out of my truck to walk into Lowe’s and a guy who saw me get out asked “Is that your Tesla?” I said “The truck. Yes”… he said “Fascist” and walked away. I said “Thanks.”

I was a little worried he would do something to my truck, but not because of the truck, but because my family was in the truck.

I stopped at a convenience store last night and ended up in a 5 minute POSITIVE conversation about the Cybertruck. The guy commented that it was the first one he’d seen in white and thought it looked awesome. Asked me what I thought of driving it, etc.

I live in a Dallas suburb and have had nothing but good vibes thrown my way.

I have mostly positive reactions too (by far). I live over an hour North of Seattle.

Next month, April 10th will make a full year of ownership. Best vehicle I've ever had. With my previous trucks I never drove them as daily drivers but the Cybertruck makes it a pleasure. 100% reliability (just like every Tesla we have ever owned).

It's such an incredible machine I can barely believe it. Sales should climb steadily through the rest of the year as people increasingly learn it's not the piece of crap the media portrays it as. Not to mention, Elon has millions of new fan boys (and many of them can actually afford to buy new trucks every few years). Elon's follower count on social media has accelerated again recently. I asked Grok 3 to provide a trend of Elon's followers and it came up with this:

If I zoom into the rear bumper, you can see me proudly displaying the "Made in USA" sticker I have on all of my Tesla.

I started adding these "Made in USA" stickers after people started asking me where Tesla were built. So many people know little to nothing about Tesla, even now I run into people who think they are imports.

I have a feeling that it’s a blue state, red state issue. Sure there are some outliers, but the majority of haters are libs.
Wasn’t that way before he endorsed a candidate… the people flipping me off and coal rolling weren’t libs as far as I could tell from who their bumper stickers sided with.

It doesn’t matter what the haters thinks of Elon. Cybertruck is still awesome! And the case cannot be made that a triggered hater takes action because of something Elon says. Elon can say what he wants, and it won’t change the fact that this truck is still the best vehicle I’ve ever driven. I don’t drive a badge or a ribbon (although I love the USA sticker on the bumper!), I drive an awesome truck. If someone else can’t respect that, then they need to grow up. Elon might say something a bit less civil about the crazy haters.

I took the Cybertruck to a SXSW event last night into downtown Austin. FSD handled the crazy festival traffic and throngs of pedestrians with aplomb.

Got plenty of attention, mostly "hey look a Cybertruck!" but no overt displays of negativity.

The hardest part was giving up my baby to the valet, but in Austin they've all driven Teslas before (and many have driven CTs). The valet even made a point of telling me he got nothing but positive vibes from all the attention he was getting while driving it.

Hilariously, upon departure, they brought up two Cybertrucks together. "Wait, which one is mine??"

Went up the mountain to play in the snow yesterday it was great to have the CB do 98% of the driving up and down the mountain. The only reaction that I observed was a big thumbs up from a guy in an Audi who was heading up when I was coming down. Saw three other cyber trucks driving around during this trip and that’s probably an all-time high.

*Since some of us were tracking it before, 2/3 were wrapped meaning (including mine), 50/50 wrapped versus not.

Now, I just gotta get the boys to bear their teeth and turn the truck straight forward, and I’ll have my live action Cyberus photo in the can!

I just saw a horrific video of a guy running alongside a CT in NYC, banging on the windows of the CT, and came to our forum to understand what happened. I found the thread, but it's deleted.

Why? Was this a poster decision? Not great, but I'm sure there was a reason. Was this a mod decision? Absolutely not, can't happen.

This kind of video is CRITICAL to document and not take down. This thread in the subreddit-that-shall-not-be-named represents actual incitement to violence.

This perp, or someone like him, will pull this stunt with the wrong CT driver and will get rightfully reminded that pedestrian-vs-vehicle interactions should be avoided, not sought out. Anyone deranged enough to do this is dangerous enough to pull out a gun and shoot the CT driver.

When that CT driver gets charged, he MUST have records of threads like this one to show how pervasive and threatening these lunatics are.

Please do NOT take this down again without a VERY good reason.

Seems like there should be a dedicated section of the forum for hate incidents specifically towards CTs. We shouldn’t be hiding them, we should be collecting data about how widespread it’s getting. Ban political discussion if necessary to prevent flame wars.

Driving on 87N Friday evening I had a deranged subaru box me in. I was left lane driving and they swerved out of right lane and blocked the left lane. With kids in car, I was pretty patient. Next they slowed down (not brake check) to about 40mph leading to the cars behind me to slam their brakes and swirv and pass. I followed suit and the car switch lanes again. It was a group of young girls who rolled their window down in 32 degree weather to flip my wife and kids the bird.

People lost their minds.

We might have to start administering IQ tests as a condition of getting a driver's license!

I had one similar incident. All I had to do was switch lanes when it was safe (very important) and feather tap the pedal! My Beast was a mile away from that idiot in a few mins. The last thing I want is someone rear ending me because the jerk in the front hates Elon and decided to act like a toddler with no diapers!

He's pounding on HFS and armor-glass. I'd tell him "hit it harder!!" so he'd spend the rest of the night in Urgent Care getting a cast for his broken hand

I was demonstrating the toughness yesterday by kicking the door repeatedly. Didn't damage the truck, but my foot still hurts hahahahaha

I'm curious if my experience matches other owners. I have tunnel vision and do the best to mind my own business, so I basically only see the middle fingers of people hanging out their windows. With that said, there's been a lot.
