I haven’t read the other answers, so some of this is probably redundant, but I’ll give you my 2 cents.

1. I didn’t have PowerShare installed, so I can’t help you here.

(Great start…)

2. I haven’t heard any rumors of a price increase for premium connectivity, but I could see it happening someday. In the past, Tesla has been good about warning us months in advance about price increases or features going away.

3. Yes, CT has a front bumper camera. It’s great for steep hillcrests and off-roading.

4. AWD and Beast share the same sound system. 15 speakers (one is in the ceiling right in the middle), 2 subwoofers, not sure on the power, but it can get loud enough to wake the dead and shake a 6,900 pound truck. Tesla doesn’t seem to make their stuff compatible with anyone else’s (no Apple Car Play/Android Auto), so I doubt Dolby Atmos works.

5. My windshield has been through hell with cement mixers throwing rocks at it. One in particular was huge and when it hit it was so loud I thought there was no way there wasn’t at least a small chip in it. It was enough to make me save the dash cam to get his license plate, exit the freeway, and check it out. Nothing happened. CT didn’t care at all.

6. We just had a day of 50mph winds here in Dallas. No vibration or rattling of the windows, but definitely a bit on the side mirrors - those are a bit underbuilt and are only on there because they “have to be.”

7. No fancy tailgate steps. Doesn’t even power close. You have to actually close it with your hands (what year is this?) It is easy to close though, I expected it to be pretty heavy but it feels lighter than my Tundra’s.

8. I haven’t had any problems with the air suspension, but the oldest trucks aren’t even 18 months old yet. We shall see. Seems well built.

9. Ball park for wraps: $7K for PPF and $4,500 for vinyl. Vinyl is thin and will tear and peel before long. PPF is the way to go.

10. I’d say get the newest one you can. Tesla just gets better and better the more practice they have at making them.

Extras. Tesla doesn’t offer a garage door opener for CT. For the 3/Y they had to remove the bumper and install a magic box. CT has MyQ built in.

No extended warranty for CT that I know of (there is for the sexy cars so not sure what’s up with that).

11)If. you have a wifi opener. You can buy at HD a $30 box to install (very easy no tools) that will allow the CT to open and close leaving and arrival. It's $45 a year for the MYQ. The Homelink was $350 to purchase. FWIW mine has worked fine. I think depends on your wifi at home strength. (may be wrong)
Yeah, I have the MyQ box for my garage, it works with Homelink garage openers as well. I don't use the auto open/close feature, but multiple times now it has closed when prompted (while backing out of the driveway) and then opened again as I was driving away. I don't know if it has something to do with the app re-sending the command when the car is swapping from WiFi to cellular, but it's unreliable enough that I have to check the MyQ app on my phone to make sure the door stays closed after I leave. It really should have been included like it is with the S/X, but I'd happily pay $350 if Homelink was available. MyQ is great for being able to open/close the garage for packages when I'm away.

Maybe I'll fiddle with the CTs settings to keep WiFi connected in drive and see if that stops it from switching to cellular right when I'm trying to close the garage door.

I purchased my Cybertruck just about a year ago and absolutely LOVE IT.

Is a fun car, safe, truly amazing. A trophy of Elan's Genius

Also have a Lexus LX600 with 13,500 miles on it but rather drive the Cybertruck, as a matter of fact need to connect it to a trickle charger to keep the battery up

I also live in the Wonderful and Free State of Florida

Hey all, I am in the process of looking at CT. Due to the “bonuses”, i am considering Cyberbeast Foundation series. I do like road trips…so the free supercharging is kinda nice. Free premium connectivity, while small cost, is icing on cake. I am new to this forum. With the questions below, i don’t mind you guys pointing me in the right direction via link or give a quick explanation will be much appreciated. My brothers have several Teslas…so i am familiar in general with them. My dad just took delivery of 2025 Model Y LE. This will be my FIRST Tesla ever. I currently have a Ford F150 Powerboost with 7.2 kW generator.

1. PowerShare. I see this on Foundation as included option while other CT has it as an option. From my understanding, PowerShare involves the outlets in the bed (240V and 110s). Is this like a software upgrade that allows you to use the bed outlets to power house or charge other EVs? I see this outlet in every CT, right?

(I already have a Generac sub panel to power some part of my house via truck or independent gas generator…so, this PowerShare is of great interest to me.)

PowerShare requires hardware over-and-above your wall charger. Depending on your particular setup it will cost around $2500 - $4000, which ain't bad considering what it cost to install a standard backup system.

2. Premium connectivity. I understand that it is $10/mo right now. Is there rumor that Tesla will increase this rate once they add more streaming stuff or other functionality?

I've owned Teslas for around 5 years now and it's always been around $10/month.

3. The new 2025 Model Y that my father just got has the lower bumper camera. The CT has this too, right? Is there a functionality to this? Better pothole management?

I know the CT has both front and rear cameras. Pretty sure the rear camera is mounted on the upper portion of the tailgate and the front camera is on the windshield but I could be wrong.

4. Audio system. Do all CT have the same stereo system? Any specs on it? How many speakers, amps power? Does it support Dolby Atmos?? Any speaker in the ceiling?

All CT's have the same sound system, which includes 15 speakers, 2 subs and "distributed amplifiers." It doesn't have Dolby Atmos but it does have an "immersive sound" toggle, which kinda mimics Atmos. All that said, the CT sound system is arguably the best stock sound system on the road.

5. Is the front windshield of CT pretty strong against rock chips, etc? I have heard that in other Teslas, the windshield gets chipped easily. My current Ford truck has super strong windshield! My Toyota…not so much!

I don't know the specs on the windshield so I won't pretend that I do. I will say that I drive a highway almost daily that rock-carrying trucks also frequent. I've heard that heart-wrenching ping on more than one occasion when a small rock hits my windshield but I haven't sustained any damage. Yet.

6. Does the side window of CT vibrates and makes noise on cross winds? My Ford truck does this. Such as going down highway and there are strong cross winds, does the side glass vibrate/rattles?

This is a complete non-issue for me.

7. The rear bed…sorry if this sounds stupid, but is there an accessory to get into the bed easily…such as a kickstand that pops out from below for you to step on?

Really good question. I get a lot of ads for various accessories and I haven' t seen anything available yet but that will no doubt change.

8. Is the air suspension on CT reliable? Is it heavier duty than others?

Once again, I don't have all the specs on the air suspension but it is certainly one of my favorite features. In non off-road mode you can set your preferred height but understand that it will automatically adjust based on your speed. For instance, if you set it to HIGH it will remain as such until you get to around 25 MPH, which will automatically adjust it to MEDIUM and once you get to freeway speed it will automatically adjust to LOW. I prefer to ride at the HIGH setting all the time so I usually drive around in off-road > all terrain mode.

9. I will probably wrap my CT matte black. How much are the wraps (materials and labor) in general? Ball park figure…i have never wrapped my vehicles before.

$4500 - $6500 depending on whether or not you want the wrap to include the inside of the doors.

10. Lastly…are there VIN numbers that i need to steer away from? Are Foundation series better put together than others since they were made first and for enthusiasts? Or are they more trouble prone being so early in assembly line?

Good question. I purchased my CT about 4 months ago and I have had zero issue.

Once again, thank you so much for answering my questions.

Yeah. Fortunately I live in a more rural area of San Diego so not so bad as it is in the city.

Honestly if you "like to drive", enjoy the feeling of sports cars on the road then get the cyberbeast. If you just drive because its part of life and intend to let it drive for you then the AWD is better for you and cheaper.

That is really the difference.
