Looking to take advantage of current incentives on 24 Foundation Series. What concerns, questions should I ask given the earlier VIN compared to new 25 models. Any concerns/comments appreciated.

I have a 15,xxx VIN that I’ve had for 9 months. The one real issue I has was a bad sensor on my compressor. Once they fixed that, life was grand again. I would love to have that free lifetime charging! I will add that I love my truck. I know it is just a material bobble but dang i really love it.

It is just a numbers game, the earlier the production date / VIN the more problems that people have had. If your getting a 2024 I would make sure that you are saving 10-12k+ to make it worth your while, budget in time for service appointments to get things fixed etc.

2% finance rate, 6k off sticker, free supercharging….pretty compelling. Just debating that path vs newer 25 model with the tax credit and same financing. FS feels like a ton of value.

2% should qualify on both the 24 and the 25
6k off sticker still puts it way above a NFS
No tax credit with a FS
Statistically a lot more problems with the 24s

Nothing wrong with getting a 24, but with the end of the quarter approaching I would wait and let Tesla make it worth your while taking a 24.

Free supercharging has an average value of like $1,900 for Tesla owners, so unless you travel long distances for work etc you may want to run the math on the value of supercharging.

There are no 25 foundation series cybertrucks.

No not lifetime.

Not "average".

The CT is expensive to SC. A 500 mile trip can cost me $100 each way. If someone travels away from home, more than 100 miles each way, they'll likely need to SC.

Most value SC between $5k-15k looking at TMC. I personally spend around 3k per year SC. Some are more, some don't leave their house and never use it.

If you're going to travel often free SC is more valuable than free FSD, IMO. FSD is $99 per month, I spend way more than that SC.

Also if you want roof racks only the FS can have four bars/ the option for over the roof bars…

Think the nonFS can have as many just the way the hardware mount is accessed is different if I am not mistaken.

What do you mean by the end of the quarter approaching? You think they will have a better deal later?
I got an email today that says the 1.99% financing is end at the end of March.

Very possible, if you look at previous end of year/quarter which is still 18 days away there have been pushes to move units. Especially with the current stock and other situations I wouldn't be surprised if they pull another lever.

I'm personally waiting for another lever. Then it's time to buy a '25 nonFS :)
