Do you have any concern regarding posts about rear quarter panels or frunk panels coming off? I see some posts, but not near as many as the cantrails. I'm wondering if the front frunk section part number has changed too.

I’d be concerned about any panel that is only held on with adhesive. There’s gotta be a more permanent fix. I know I’ve joked about it, but there’s nothing a good ol’ rivet gun can fix!

Thanks for checking. I'd be happy with rivets on the panels! I'm concerned when I'm out of warranty they will get pulled off by the car wash brushes.

Got this from a local contact at my SC, this is not a dealer so hoping the dealers get the parts sooner. Two weeks is Apr 1..

We just received the instructions for repair of the problem area this morning, however we will not have parts available for another week to two weeks. I can tell you they are prioritizing parts release for trucks such as yours, so hopefully we can get this cleared up sooner rather than later.

Got a call from the Service Center and the new parts have been ordered, the fix won't happen this weekend, but hopefully next week and definitely before the end of the month. ??????

I’m hoping all service centers resolve this soon. Still wish we knew what happened in production to cause this issue. In the end I don’t mind if we’re getting a better product and take delivery by April.

That’s correct. Luckily I have another vehicle to use while my trade in sits for however long it takes.

I got concerned about the trade in since it's my daily and so I asked them today. All they said is that the truck should be ready by the end of next week (Cherry Hill NJ). Idk how to fight it but it feels like the trade in I'm driving isn't even my car anymore so it's making me even more impatient?

I was contacted to set up my delivery, for next Thursday. My truck is due to deliver this Saturday, but they didn’t mention anything about a potential hold for my vehicle. Very interested to know if they fixed it prior to shipping it, or if I’ll be subject to a hold once it arrives. I would imagine they wouldn’t schedule with this known issue if it weren’t already addressed..with all of these others being held.

Now that the fix is designed, agreed upon, tested, documented, tooling is set up, and parts are being created at scale, I'm sure the actual labor of putting the new parts in shouldn't take too long once the service center gets them.
