delayed delivery due to inspection?

Now that the fix is designed, agreed upon, tested, documented, tooling is set up, and parts are being created at scale, I'm sure the actual labor of putting the new parts in shouldn't take too long once the service center gets them.

Maybe they just put my replacement parts in the bed?

I was contacted to set up my delivery, for next Thursday. My truck is due to deliver this Saturday, but they didn’t mention anything about a potential hold for my vehicle. Very interested to know if they fixed it prior to shipping it, or if I’ll be subject to a hold once it arrives. I would imagine they wouldn’t schedule with this known issue if it weren’t already addressed..with all of these others being held.

I guess I don't understand the lack of communication. I'm certain about 75% of people waiting on delivery would be more understanding if the showroom / delivery people told us whats going on. I've had mine moved 4 times for "inspections". When I press them for more information, it's radio silence. I've cleared my schedule for Saturday (the current date) but will be traveling all next week.

Why can't they just inspect for failing adhesive, if its not failed / failing, let you have the truck and let you schedule with your local SC for recall repair?

I'm curious to know what your VIN is. Like I mentioned in several other posts, I run an independent EV repair shop and I can lookup VINs to see what parts have been installed.
I've done lookups for @cwood1009 and @Willwillx so far

Just got a call from the delivery advisor. Parts are enroute, tracked and in the system already. ETA is Monday, truck would be ready by Tuesday. My work schedule doesn’t jive with that so my earliest pickup is Saturday the 29th.
But its positive news!
